This year im turning into a teen. When I was 5 i always wanted to be 13, but now that I'm here, I want to be 5 again. It feels like just yesterday I was graduating Kindergarten, and now I'm going to 8th grade. I miss being in elementary school, fighting with friends for stupid reasons and always making up. I dont wanna grow up fast, i want to enjoy it.
I'm 17. All my life I wanted to turn 18 and go to college. Now I realize that my life is about to change. I'll turn 18 in May and leave hichschool in June. I just wish I could go back and live the last 3 years again. These were the best years of my life and I know I'm gonna miss my school, my friends and my teachers ( my math teacher specialy)!

I'm 14 and I miss being little. Life was so easy, everyone was your friend. You had nothing to worry about. But I also can't wait till I am 16 and can drive.
I'm 17 and I wasted so much of my life fighting for nothing, over petty bull over cliques in school and stuff. I wish I could redo haha. I picked up guitar to change my life, and I wish I didn't have to grow up anytime soon.
As far as the first verse...I am SO not going to miss this. I can't WAIT to turn eighteen and be able to see my friends more than once every month and a half. (a little sometimes more often if I'm lucky). As far as the second and third verses...well, that's what I dream of for someday...
I rememb er being in high school; talking to my friends about who I wanted to be, where I wanted to go and who I wanted to do it with. It's gone by so fast! I'm now 23, with a newborn and getting married. After I turned 18, everything just whizzed by. Even though it hasn't always been easy and there have been times I didn't think I'd make it, I have no regrets.

Being a Senior in high school this year, I always look back on that first day of freshman year when a teacher would say "it's going to fly by!" and everyone kinda shook their heads and said "yea, right," and now Im graduating at the end of May. Take advantage of every opportunity to spend time with the friends you make in high school, and take the time to make memories with everybody else. Real life sneaks up on you quick.
@AllTimeLow976 I did the exact same thing, I remember walking across the stage on graduation just shaking my head. Seemed like just yesterday I was getting lost trying to find a classroom in the high school. While I wouldnt go back to high school now, there are so many things that I would have done different. Seriously kids, make some memories, have some fun. Dont stress grades, work will always be there and money doesnt get you anything unless you spend it.

Been out of high school for about eight months(graduated 2011) This was our class song, every time I listen to it I just reminisce on the good memories. Just really makes you realize how much fun high school was and that those will be the best memories of your life.

I tear up everytime I hear this song because mine are 38.36,30,26 24 and 20 and I can remember when they were little and I couldn't wait for them to grow up. I didn't savor every minute when they were little or appreciate every kiss or hug they gave me. I was to busy teaching them right from wrong, making a living, helping with homework etc. Looking back I do miss it.
lost my brothers middle school teacher today due to colon cancer and it has shocked us all!! seems like she was just on extreme makeover home edition only yesterday and now she is gone :( she made such an impact on all of our lives so know im going to take this last year and a half of high school like i will never have it again

Yep I'm almost 19. Graduated and have a job. Paying for everything. It feels nice to pay for your own stuff and have responsibility but I really do miss high school and the younger days. What I wouldnt give to ride bikes around the neighborhood with my best friend again, to not have to worry about bills, jobs, economy, gas, to have sleepovers and chase the dog around the yard on summer afternoons. @FrostyThaBEAST62 im 19 years old and graduated high school and i got a job, its not as bad, trust me you WILL grow up on your own when as soon as you wake up that next morning after your HS graduation, if you got girlfriend/ boyfriend, you be loyal to them and treat them like somebody and do right for people in your life; then like is better when you get out of high school.
@1000ashleyful dont wish your life away. I know it sounds very cliche, but if you spend your life counting down to something, it goes by very quickly and you miss out on things. Just enjoy life as it comes and don't worry about the bad stuff, it will all pass eventually.

@Willow216p Ya know Willow, my dad used to tell me, "Too soon your old, too late your smart". I figured out what he meant when I was about thirty. Now all our kids a grown and gone, but, I get to do it all again with the grand kids and great's now. So it's kinda like going back in time. But, I do miss those early days sometimes. I tear up everytime I hear this song because mine are 38.36,30,26 24 and 20 and I can remember when they were little and I couldn't wait for them to grow up. I didn't savor every minute when they were little or appreciate every kiss or hug they gave me. I was to busy teaching them right from wrong, making a living, helping with homework etc. Looking back I do miss it.

Yep I'm almost 19. Graduated and have a job. Paying for everything. It feels nice to pay for your own stuff and have responsibility but I really do miss high school and the younger days.
