  • I am Ortodox Cristian, song is awensome!

  • Wonderful to hear a wonderfully aranged version of Lecha Dodi. It reminded me of how much I miss hearing our kids praying with joy and love.

  • Great song, but the video could be better..

At least if people would know the holyness of these words...

  • Gute Shabes !

  • got 2 admit Jewsic videos r way better den dis

  • this song is sooooo amazing .... hope to visit szarvas next year ..... this is the most amazing place in the world <3

  • this song is sooooo amazing .... hope to visit szarvas next year ..... this is the best place <3

  • just finished "the source" by james michener and this song was mentioned. your version is a really nice intro, thanks!

    hi from denver, co!

  • Uri the K, what's the "K" stand for? "Kranky?" Exactly what is your problem with the "modesty" level of this great video? The dude in the pool with no shirt?

  • Next year in szarvas :)

  • Cooool! Big hi from Kaliningrad!!!

  • lindo demais.Lecha Dodi

    Viva Israel eo Krav Magá

  • Linda demais essa música de Lecha Dodi.

VIVA O GRAV MAGÀ NO RIO DE JANEIRO 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey big fan of the song and arrangements, but please a little more modesty if not for the sake of the words youre using

  • I must admit that i don't see any sexuality in this video i don't understand what you all are seeing

  • In orthodox Judaism women must have their arms covered to their elbows and the legs covered past the knee. Also, they must wear skirts. So, if an orthodox Jew were to view this video it would be like porn compared to what they are supposed to be looking at.

  • woa and i thought i liked the version i had this is awesome!

  • איזה טמבלים

  • this is awesome! Has this been released? Can i download it from anywhere? who sings it?

  • As the info states: Lecha Dodi from Six13 (an american acapella group). The video was done in an international Jewish youth camp in Szarvas, Hungary, obviously not by the singer group.

  • He's singing a Hungarian song at the end. I guess these are Hungarians...:)

  • Awesome version of lecha dodi!!:)!! Hi from fort collins co!

  • what was that guy at the end saying?? i think he was speaking hebrew...

  • The guy at the end was singing the starting of a Hungarian children-song about the coloured lil' cow. More exactly: "Cowie-cowie, coloured, She hasn't tail, she hasn't ear; We are going to live there", and the continuing is "where we can get milk", or in an other version: "where we can get sugar". Besides, I think this song is AWESOME! :) luvya Mark, luvya Sasha, luvya Itzko, luvya Frici, and all of you! :)

  • @robotman92

the entire song is in Hebrew

  • אמריקאיים מפגרים

  • AWESOME

    Shalom from Germany

  • love it,. Szarvaaaass

  • Szarvas!!!

  • sounds like Chevra

  • who are these guys?

  • just discovered this group from podcast from Israel Pub radio. Check out the song Home, english. Hebrew rocks and i am not fluent..so beautiful and the vid..menschs just having some fun. Shalom all

  • This was the most pathetic, disgusting, lamest, horrible video I've ever seen in my whole life. I actually went to the bathroom and threw up. I kind of understand why there is assimilation with the Jews in America because look how many ***** were showed here

  • wow...may you learn to have a relationship with G-d and man vs. so many rules that no one wants to be around you or your G-d

  • יא קרועים חח חמוד

    I liked it =) lol

  • Love it! Shalom from Oklahoma USA!

  • Love Song

  • DOOODDDIIIII

  • Hey skacok jó lett ez a Lecha Dodi, csak így tovább ;)

  • Nice tune, but I don't like the american accent because I think the long "o" spoils the song.. Try singing the song in an english or israeli accent. It might just sond better. Shabbat Shalom/Good Shabbos

  • כן. השיר רק בעברית

  • Dear Wannabee - Please know that the singers sang with the Ashkenazi accent and I think is sounded beautiful. Most of Eastern European Jewry davened that way. Having grown up in an Ashkenazi congregation, I find Sephardic accents rather unpleasant. I studied Hebrew in college and speak with a Sephardic pronounciation, but daven in Ashkenazi - and that sounds perfectly correct to me!

  • @IRISBFINE Sephardic is much more traditionally middle eastern. I like some ashkanazi melodies as well. But If you want to know how prayers were done and the traditions involved in Israel centuries ago, then the closest you can look for are the Sephardic Jews, and not blondes from northern Europe :)

  • COOL!!!!

  • Shabat Shalom!

    From Brazil!

    Am Israel Chai!

Tarbut, daat, safa! Ahava, Shalom ve koach!

  • Good job ishar koach

  • just W ISRAEL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • can someone tell me the rules on facial hair?i want to learn

  • what do you mean, the laws of facial hair?

  • are you supposed to have a full beard or shave it all off?i have heard that men can shave but not with a razor blade. is a goatee ok without the rest of the beard?

  • @razorback2131 it depend s what type you are i'm a jew and can shave

  • Love this!

  • Thanks for showing what a joy shabbat can be in an unorthodox way!

  • very nice

  • this is so weird!!!!omg!

  • this is the best performance on shabat :-)

  • shabbat has a sense of community of hanging out in the pool, dancing and acting rapper-ish . . . no, it has a sense of community as in peace and tranquility and holiness. i know holiness can be subjective, but not to this extent. life isn't jsut about senses of humour and fun. its about living for a higher purpose. and i don't know if this viedoe conveyed that . . .

  • this is a beautiful song. i just foudn the hip, butt swaying girls a bit in contradiction with holiness. same as well with the people in the pool, in bathing suits. regardless of the sect you are from you should be always goinggg higher. and this type of spiritual, holy song, should not be attributed in any way with such physical, sexual innuendos

  • I don't know... the video communicates to me more that Shabbat has a sense of community and fun to it. I actually didn't really notice any sexual innuendos until I read this comment, but they are very very well hidden and mainly communicating that sense of community, fellowship, and a sense of humor or fun. I believe that is very holy.

  • ahahah really beautiful song!

    shalom from italy

  • awesome! I LOVE this song!! wow!

  • i love it a very cooooool song <3

  • good music...but this video is just making me laugh. Perhaps its just an israeli thing?

  • Awesome job, I love you guys so much. I never thought that lecha dodi could sound so amazing! Keep up the good work you guys! Also 3:05 is so funny!

P.S. I am only a 9 year old boy about to turn ten in florida and goes to hebrew school.

I havent gotton to go to Isreal yet but I really hope I get A chance to soon

  • Refuah Shlaimah

  • 3:05 is soo funny!

  • this is hilarious

  • SIX13's Hodu is better, look for it when it comes out

  • BEAUTIFULLY done and sung!! :)

  • i couldn't see ONE negative comment :o seems like everyone loves jews. peace and love people!

  • I luv the song!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, come on, you couldn't find a better song to go dancing to?

  • I like it =)

  • they kinda just skipped half the song...

I wonder if they even have any appreciation for what this song signifies. most of them are not even wearing kippot.

don't even get me about the dancing girls

  • ..that was my house.. :D

  • It all depends on what sect of Judaism you are from- in reform girls are allowed to do everything the guys are. And this song is just one version of praying. If you don't like it you don't have to listen to it.

  • @arielllsarussi agreed

  • if I were Mike Boxer, I'd sue you

  • is cool this video...those jewish are crazy !!!!!1

  • the clip was made in hungary,in szarvas,a camp located in the city by the same name

the camp is awsome,i've already been there twice and will go as many times as i can..and it's not just jewish people going,as i myself,am not jewish, but also romanians, americans, polish people, hungarians and russians

  • @thejewsarecoming that explains alot

  • nice eyebrows!!!

  • לכה דודי "przyjdź mój umiłowany"

  • ayayay.. :))) AMAZING :-D !!!

  • ..lecha dodi...likrat kala..

  • i love this song!!! exact version i love!

  • svaka cast sta reci vise

    DEJAN JE KRALJ

  • Oy va voy!!! Is this actually the song that the US Army tortured the Guantanamo prisoners with?!

  • shalom, i am new to practicing my jewish roots. i love the beat to this version. but i'm having a hard time matching the words sung to the transliterated version i have found. it this one a little diffrent? or am i all mixed up? can you please help me. my family would love to sing this on shabbas. maybe someone can provide me with another transliterated lyrics. thank you very much! kul tov - laura

  • It was fine but I think you should take the ladys out of it. Women should not be dancing or any such in front of men. That is just my opinun. No offense intended.

  • I agree with you, I'm sure Mike Boxer would say the exact same thing... he is the guy who composed the tune

  • Thank you. ^^ I used to about 3 months ago say that women can and there should not be a halacha aginst and such but really it has its points.

  • why did you have to ruin a good song?

  • Why do you not go to sabbath?

  • ma hakesher?

because I dont like the video, youre saying that I'm not Shomer Shabbos? by the way, Shomer Shabbos means that I keep the Shabbos. and yes, I walk to Synagogue on the Sabbath.

  • geil

  • This kaballahcostal appreciates the exquisite tenor of the voices..I listen to meditate on the poetry..jewish boyz gone right!!

  • 3:10 lol, Camp Lauder :D:D:D

  • Why from a piece of tfila, you do such a thing??? Why do you guys mezalzelim a song like this?? Take some other song to dance it, like clumsy form ferguie!?!?! I dont know but the thing I know is.... shame on you!!!!!!!!!

  • Such a pity you feel the way you do. I find the t'fila enhanced with the beauty of youth trying to find a way to express their unity with G-D. We all come from ONE. Why would you separate yourself from these incredibly expressive young adults. I welcome them with open arms in their efforts to bring unity to the world beginning with us. TODAH to the creators for sharing this with the world.

  • Everybody has their own opinion, and from my point of view, yes this wasnt a song to do a class of video like this, of course everybody comes from hashem and they are his creations, but you know as young adults they should know better, I am a teenager and I have 100% faith in hashem. But if you feel this is their way of expressing their love to hashem I totally respect it and welcome them with opened hands, cuz of course they are yehudim and have faith!

Well nw you know why i gave that comment!

  • Hát ez visszahozza a régi szép napokat!:) Évek óta nem jártam már Szarvason...

  • Szarvas... Sasha, Andras... <3

  • like this song a lot, it's from the group six13

  • I am not so conservative, but this song, Lecha dodi, should not include rap with those hands flailing. It looks as if the one guy is flashing American gangster "signs".

lol dejan was our unit head and i know him in person... and daviv... have no idea, hes always around

  • this is such a great video!! i absolutely love this modern version of such a beautiful song.

  • Todah. Great video.

  • Israel is a tiny country surrounded by 22 savage arab nations that want to destroy it. 22 arab countries. 57 islamic countries. Jews have 1 tiny little 1, and I can assure you, no matter what your best friend ahmadinejad says, Israel is on the map to stay. Israelis dont like war. But they will respond when necessary. So u tell me. What did nasrallahs war do for the average, good, lebanese civilian? NOTHING!

  • This is why I admire Jews and the people of Israel so much. Your religion, your culture, is all about LOVE, PEACE, and HAPPINESS. Compared to your enemies, who admire DEATH and TERRORISM.

G0D BLESS YOU ISRAEL FROM YOUR NUMBER 1 CHRISTIAN FRIEND!

  • :)

    Peace with ya

    xD

  • aaw thnx, we luv u 2!

  • as much as i would love to agree with you i cant because not everyone on the jewish side is for peace and love there are those crazy peps everywhere

  • Thanks for the comment. I am proud to be Jewish and I appreciate your support.

  • As a Christian, if Israel EVER gets attacked by multiple SATANIC islamic countries, I will fly my ass down there and fight on the front lines. Jerusalem is holy to us also. We Christians, came from Jews, we ARE Jews. You are our brothers and sisters. And i'm not the only non-Jew that would help you fight off these demons. G0d is on your side Israel. And G0D blesses those that bless you.

  • That's right. HaShem told Avraham Avinu: "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you." Genesis 12:3.

    Shalom.

  • i love israel <3
