You know, normally i'm not a very big fan of Versus broadcasts.. but I think the commentators really helped seet the mood with his hat trick. It was a phenomenal display of emotion by everyone in the verizon center whenever that happened.. and I agree with you man.. everytime I watch this reel.. I get the chills too haha. My favorite part about his hat trick was Crosby's request to the officiating crew to ask the fans to "stop throwing hats" because he wanted to play hockey.. c'mon now.. haha :)
well sadly I didn't include that in this reel haha, BUT.. if you search for crosby complaining about hats for ovechkin's hat trick, you'll find a video of him in a press conference admitting that he did ask them to make an announcement for the fans to cease throwing hats.. you should get a kick out of it haha
i was there in sec 117 and we all knew what crosby was doing... it was hilarious to watch that puss complain about that. he should have been glad to get a break
The siren in addition to the goal horn is overkill i think lol. The goal horn is good enough.
