@grumpyjr30 24-70 and 70-200 for weddings, as well as a 50mm f/1.4 or f/1.2, or an 85mm f/1.2L. If you want great quality, especially what you'd want at weddings, you should go for the L series lenses. That's where the quality is.
@grumpyjr30 i have been searching around and around dor the last ONE MONTH to get the best answer, and yesterday i decided that i will get : Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM, its arround 250 - 350 usd and from what i found on the internet, it ISS the best lens for this purposal!!! if you want an even better picture, even just a tiny little small differencs that won't be even visible for everyone, you'll havve to pay at least 1300 usd for such!! ;)
There is really no point to use built in picture styles if you are shooting RAW.
Professional don't shoot using crop or picture styles and will edit their photos later in Photoshop or Lightroom. Armatures just having fun might use them, but will have no need to shoot RAW or even the know how.
It's really just a waist of space and function. $1200 bucks is a bit steep for the amateur point and shoot who would be using such functions.
@4Firearms well.... for still photography your argument is very valid... but Canon's video formats are very compressed... and picture style its a big deal on video... because its part of the algorithm used on the compression process... so adjusting picture style to create a more neutral(flat) picture is highly important... remember Canon's Strength is Video after all... I have a 60D btw
I've read there are good pixels, and bad pixels. Canon 60d I think stinks.! The HD video is great. The photo's are flat. I've had other canon rebels, and I liked them better.
so amm, 60d is something like 7D & 550D get married ,they are in love ,and 11 months ago they take to this world a wonderful baby called canon eos 60d (after that, something gone wrong and the daughter(60d) gone with her daddy (550d) :O big scandal for canon family and after that daddy and daughter had sex and now they have a little daughter who called canon eos 600d its a little baby...
@skidgalning Happens that I really want a flippy screen and also a bigger body with a better grip. Also more options and much faster control speed and top LCD which are all very important to my taste.
it might be a fail to YOU..... you probably cannot speak for everyone
@skidgalning funny, those are the exact reasons why I want the 60D rather than the 550D. As well as the small LCD screen and built-in level of course. Oh, and the RF transmitter for SpeedLite blitzes. And a higher FPS. Actually, there's a whole slew of reasons why I find the 60D much more suitable to my needs than the 550D.
@gamzun 60D is great, i own it. But the body is a mega fail. Even my 50D has better build body than 60D. But i think you can't get better camera for that low price (waiting Nikon D7000 users to respond to my comment).
I have this camera and I love it!
It is not really professional...they say it is semi professional...is that true?

@Brazilady Of course it's professional. Amazing camera.

Can't all these effects be applied afterwards, on an editing photo program or
even on the video editing program?
Makes any difference?
Please, let me know.

why does my the raw image procesing not in the menu on my camera? :O
leannnnne2cool 6 months ago
@leannnnne2cool only appears when you use "advanced" mode such as Av or P. Those full-auto modes don't have this option.

@killuaxx No compatible images available for selection, thats what it said :(

none of the tutorials I've seen show anything about taking photos at night or blowing them up to a poster size. must not a be a good feature.
