Thanks for the lesson, is there anything that the left hand should be doing during the solo?

@Wilde4Ever The LH on this solo goes from the A to the G, then down to the D, then up to the F. Repeats after that. Each note gets three beats (one measure long), and they're played in octaves. First beat is the lower note, the next two beats are the higher note.

Glad you liked it. Some songs are easier to teach than others, but this one wasn't too difficult.

I really love this part of Piano Man.

It's a pity that BJ changed that part to a totally different tune just back in early 70's.

I have never heard BJ play just like that on the stage.

I agree, the solo a great way to change the melody around and add some variety to the song. He seems to play it differently every time when it's live.

I really really! appreciate your tutorial videos. It's long way to come, but finally I came to this part to practice. (My hand is not that big as yours, so, I had to use 3 fingers codes instead of using 4 fingers in the main and the intro) It's almost there, I'm still practicing to add left hand with speed (I can do it slowly now).
