@HyperSTAND no, this appears to be the 2001 ford f-150 and even if it is the 99, the 2001 did every bit as terrible. you might want to do a little more research before stating facts, the tundra is a full sized pickup just like the f-150. you must be thinking of the tacoma which was considered compact pickup until it was reclassified. the passenger compartment on the 2001 f-150 crumpled in a very dangerous way and is a death trap. the 2006 f-150 performed very well on this test.

Notice the cab did not collapse. Vehicles are typically built to crush and absorb some of the impact. If the truck did not absorb any of the impact and just "bounced" off the wall, the acceleration would have been extremely dangerous if not fatal for the occupants. A little basic physics for ya.

Wow that's terrible, the whole cab started to cave in. I have an 01 Dodge Ram and saw the crash test on it, looked bad but nothing compared to this. At least mine can keep me inside the cab without being crushed lol ford blows

Notice the cab did not collapse. Vehicles are typically built to crush and absorb some of the impact. If the truck did not absorb any of the impact and just "bounced" off the wall, the acceleration would have been extremely dangerous if not fatal for the occupants. A little basic physics for ya.

this is pretty hard to beleive my 02 f150 is built like a tank an is as solid as can be. 210000 miles n runs strong as can be. i dont care what this test says fords have been reliable workhorses for decades an havent let the american working man down. toyota cant say that yet these tests take their side
