  • I live in the U.K, where almost every day is cloudy, and I have ginger hair, and pale skin so I try to stay out of the sun when it's sunny outside. As a result, I used to have bad acne, and when I had cuts, they healed slowly. I also used to get ill frequently. Since I've been taking cod liver oil suppliments, I have had much healthier skin, I heal quickly, and I feel a lot healthier overall. I reccomend that people take cod liver oil, weather it's as oil or as tablets, you should still take it.

  • Dr. Price and Dr. Pete Petersen recommend taking cod liver oil with Activator X (vitamin K2). The best is Skatefish liver oil or Ratfish liver oil and butter oil extract. This will stop tooth decay and can decalcify the pineal gland.

  • why can't you just take it in capsul form and avoid the taste?

  • cod liver oil may benefit people with autism and/or attention deficit problems. google a pedicatrician named mary megson

  • Carlson's Cod Liver Oil is the best

  • does it help the skin ??? or is it just to reduces the risk of diseases

  • @GeorgiePorgie020 It contains vitamin a which can be good for your skin

  • I used to have really stiff fingers and it hurt a lot, I thought I was going to loose function in the fingers later on. I started using cod liver oil everyday I can tell you it has made a big difference.

I recommend using it everyday to whoever is reading.

  • I drink a tablespoon everyday now for the past 5 years and i rarely get sick anymore. before i used to catch alot of flus each year so for me personally i can say it helps for sure

  • which brand do u use

  • i watched another video on cod liver oil by some doctor but he said something about the risk of taking cod liver oil over some other type of fish oil and it had something to do with vitamin D .. ? im not exactly sure what he meant but he was saying something along the lines of testing your vitamin D level for pre-cautions. Just seeing if anyone knows any negtive effects from taking cod liver oil...i didnt think there was any .. i take a teaspoon a day myself.

  • it's not the vitamin D...some people think there may be a risk of vitamin A toxicity with cod liver oil as it contains high levels. A tablespoon a day is fine I think (I believe there are also claims that the high vitamin D content protects against vitamin A toxicity)

  • @aehcheer2oo7 Most likely he was talking about the fact that vitamin D builds up in the body quickly when it is taken with a fat such as in Cod Liver Oil and so if you take too much of it, you can end up having too much vitamin D in your system... This also happens with vitamin A which is also contained in the cod liver oil is stored in your liver. But as long as you are not taking mass amounts (and do not overexpose yourself to sunlight) you most likely will not have a problem.

  • Cold liver oil is superior to other fish oils. The taste is not that bad. It's pretty mild if you get the right brand. Don't buy the brands in the drug or grocery stores.

  • Cod liver oil works best when consumed with a fat like pure butter. Try it !!!

  • Come on mate, is this true you naughty man ? If so i will eat the fish whole . . . .

  • I've taken cod liver oil now for over 6 years, and have not had a cold (or any other health concern) since! I used to have a cold once a year- not now!

  • wow, good on you, do you take capsules or do you spoon it down???

  • I just take 2 capsules a day, with breakfast. It is now 7 years by the way, still not sick!
