  • They have thoses in London UK

  • omg... these AA systems are so common... i think it was back in 1996 that Hong Kong already had them in all buses, trains, subways etc etc... i really hope ttc can modernize to keep up with technology even more quickly... the subways... they should run on their own, the driver is just to monitor and make adjustments when necessary... =_= but i saw the ttc dude driving that thing.... speechless....

  • I want to be the voice of the automated stop announcements! How do I apply? Haha!

  • if i was that blind lawyer who sued the TTC, i would have claimed $100,000 in compensatory damages and $500 Billion in General Damages.

  • dude stfu we had this for a while so stfu

  • thats what i'm sayin!

  • You Sir failed! XD

Way to go on making nonsense comments!

  • how come all the buses don't have the little flashing stars??

  • my usual bus route has the announcements but half the time they don;t work properly i.e Many missing LED's on the screen some weird failure or no sound.

  • The video title should be renamed New TTC "Automated Bus Stop Announcements" not New TTC "talking buses" because buses cannot talk.

  • dude..it's the samething has if it were talking...it's not like this guy actually thinks buses can talk...jeez...

  • Does the remaining GM/MCI Classic has them?

  • As of February 2008, almost all TTC Vehicles have the Automated Announcements.

  • yeah because a blind Lawyer sued the TTC (and rightfully so) after the TTC did not announce his stop.

  • no the 76xx 10xx and 11xx have this new talking strip!!

  • cool i saw this it is noe working on jane st!!

  • They have these on Kennedy. I'm not sure about the ones that go to Steeles, but the ones that go to and from the Town Center do.

  • lol i;ve been on 7511 and it looks sick. i went on a 74xx or a 77xx and it had that but it wasnt working

  • TTC Geek, I am 100 percent sure that it is a 74xx because a 77xx does not have a talking strip. Why are you sick?

  • Sick as in kick ass. I'm not saying that its a 74xx or a 77xx. I'm saying some of the 74xx and the 77xx buses have the strip but its not working.

  • this is exaclty like VIVA that runs through york region, but viva has TV;s that display something similar to CP24

  • Thats sick, now when after I fall asleep on the bus, I can look-up and see if I missed my stop

  • Cool. I MISS Toronto!!! Wanna shop there NOW!

  • I believe the TTC has branched this out to more Eglinton routes. They are the low 75xx that have this and it's slowly being installed into more Eglinton Division buses.

  • when is this lol? damn i rode the190 like 2 months ago, and i didnt see this at all :(

  • I rode on the 190 Express and 11 Bayview routes which announced every stop, mainly some 75xx numbered buses has it.

  • Cool, thanks for posting! Glad TTC is bringing this to more places :)
