I've overclock mine to 3.9 ghz an run smoothly. and begin unstable at 4 ghz

Pentium 4's in the 478 / 775 package goes up to 3.5ghz stock, so you went up 100mhz lol Depending on the core anything I think above 3.0ghz uses the same core.

i ve got the equal comp like yours but socket478 p4 3 ghz, 2gb ddr400 dual, ati hd3850 agp, and i can overclock at 3765 mhz but heat is too much to use (73 74 celcius degree when no load) i am sure if processor can have better cooler it can reach higher with stable frequencies.

@DarkGuardian256 well if you can buy a one that would be good ... but if you cpu is 45nm size then you can also use your stock cooler .... mine is 90nm and i overclocked him at 4.0 ghz and buyed a little bigger cooler than the stock ... and the temperature is 50 degres ... :D

@dahgutone I cant under stand why some-one would want to run windows 7 untimate on a 32bit operating system, rum on 64 bit and it will run maximum ram im running 8gb of ram (and its reporting as that)

@mujahidhilmi98 because a pentium 4 is a 32 bit processor if you want to install a 64 bit operation system you must have a pentium d or higher. (sorry for my english)
