  • @124heartbroken because with other numbers it might noy work the same way

  • That was helpful

  • YOU CONFUSED ME MORE :(

  • @sarah14250 then you must be stupid lol

  • This still makes no sense...

  • My teacher taught me a really fast and fun way to do this.... But I still enjoyed using this as a backup method...

  • LIFE SAVER! This is good for your maths exams to revise

  • Comment removed

  • Thks helped me

  • this stuff is helpful

  • you can use the list method to...

  • @rockhard5295 hahahahhahahahaha hope you will find a better teacher

  • Okay , the end was waayyy to confusing. I think you have no clue about math, because I'm pretty sure I am not the only one who agrees. You don't even look like a teacher anyways. Your just a man who is well dressed who bought a white board and expo markers from walmart, took it home, and decided to act like a now-it-all teacher, and put youtube videos to confuse everyone in this world. We all know ur fake.

  • Yeah I don't know why people try to show off and pick out multiples to divide by. Just use the tricks of divisibility always starting with, 2,3,5,7 in that order. He use kind of a short cut with the division, but I would not deviate from the divisibility tricks otherwise you could end up with a faulty answer. Hey people make mistakes with multiplication all the time. Multiples seem similar at times. If your rushing you could fuck your self up on a test. =)

  • i thought i had it but your just further confusing me.

  • Someone explain it to me properly?

I didnt quite understand y he ued 5 and 7.

  • what would the LCM of 12 and 18 be?????

  • thank you god.

  • thanks

  • thanks!!!!!! it helped me alott :)

  • @FreaquedeMusique if u knew how to do this stuff u wouldnt be looking it up. U HAVE NO IDEA wat ur tlkin bout.

  • But thats not correct...

    what about 30, 250?

    the outcome : LCM = 30

but with your method its 750?

  • THANKS SO MUCHH!!

  • Thx bitch

  • TY!

  • OMG your a god thanks so much

  • i still don't get it. i thought LCM is supposed to focus on how many times a number appears. say i have 2 and 2 and 2 and 3. i would choose 2 ..3 cubed. and another number that appears the most times and then another. then i would have to multiply all that together to get the LCM. but why use the 5 and 7? if they don't appear the most time...i dont get it. it doesnt make sense.

  • what if the factors dont match up? like what if there was one more three? in 2.3.5 etc...

do we only multiply those one time beacuse theres an equal amount? or do we multiply 2 times three times three?

  • Old Math...

    Mmm... 42 and 30.

Anything multiplied by a number with a zero on the end will become another number with a zero on the end.

So... I bet we're looking for a number with a zero on the end.

Mmmmm... How many times will I have to multiply a number with a 2 on the end until it becomes a number with a zero on the end? Let's see, twice would have a four on the end, three times would have a six, four times would have an 8, Ah ha!

    I get it! 5 times.

Hey, looky there! 5 times 42 is 210!

  • thank you so much!

  • Thank You Youtube!!!:) With this, who needs textbooks!

  • @TheSimsfreak01 republicans

  • THANK GOODNESS. I THOUGHT I WAS GONE GET A F- ON MY TEST. BUT THIS MAN HELPED ME ALOT JUST IN 2 MIN. AN D16 SEC. but on the real, dude need some hot coffee or a latte 2 wake his butt up.

  • Thanks so much my stupid bros math teacher didnt get this stright to my little bro and and he asked me and i exeplained it to him he didnt get it from me so i showed him this vid and he got it and even explained it to me lolz the next day he had a quiz on GCF and LCM and he got 100% thanks alot ! he would of failed it if iy wherent for this vid !!!!!!

  • he should have sounded a lot less bord but it helped a lot am studing for a math test tomarrow

  • thnx

  • lol can this guy look any mor bored then he is?

    for 50$ A MONTH

  • LOVE it! Easiest way NOW that I know to find the LCM!

  • saala gaddha

  • makes sense now

  • Im sorry this was not helpful at all. You didn't tell y u was adding the 5 and 7. And y not the 10 and the 6.

  • @MRSNOVOJ because you broke down the 10 to 5 and 2, and the 6 to 2 and 3

  • hehe hes like a robot..this was UBER helpful..thanks!

  • Thanks =)

  • nice video thx :D

  • lol how do you know which ones to circle ? :D

  • thxi have a test tmmrw

  • thanks man i really needed your help

  • wow, he got a scary LOOK in his Eyes :||

  • thx

  • thank

  • thanks

  • becuz 10 and 6 is not a prime number

  • stop being so rude. they're just trying to help and all you guys do is criticize! have any of you guys done anything to help people who are stumped? he got the job done, and that's all that matters.

  • @geomatiq you suck booty

  • ohhhhh

  • Why did he use the 5 and the 7 but not the 10 and the 6?

  • Because you can break down the 10 to 5 and 2 and the 6 to 3 and 2.

  • okay thanks :)

  • @k8ertots21 THATS EXACLY WHAT I SAID WHEN HE DID THAT!!!!!

    haha I dont know!

  • @k8ertots21 Because he already factored 10 into (5x2) and 6 into (3x2). I think a better example would have been to factor 30 using 5x6 and 42 using 7x6.

  • @k8ertots21 you can only use prime numbers. 10 and 6 are composite numbers

  • @k8ertots21 because 10 and 6 is not prime they are composite and 5 and 7 is composite but they don't have a match....

  • @k8ertots21 'cause 5 and 7 are prime.

  • @k8ertots21 He used the 5 and 7 because 5 and 7 are both prime, and the 10 and 6 are both composite.

  • @k8ertots21 because its says LEAST not GREATES so he picked the lower ones

  • @k8ertots21 Because the 7 and the 5 are both prime, 10 and 6's factors are already being used in the multiplication

  • @Metrenoid And it's little missing details or rules like that that make me fail algebra over and over again.

  • this all wrong what he is saying

  • hey.

  • ok but then there must be a typo in my home work

because it has me find the lcm of just 30?????

    HHHEEELLLPP!!!! please.....

  • this is probably the worst way to teach this that i have ever seem

  • this is soo good.. thanx GOD they made videos ..

  • Thank science and logical thinking you mean! ;P

  • im stuck what happens when the number at the top of the factor tree is a prime number do you just not do it?

  • This works with 2 numbers but not 3

  • i hate him

    what the fuck?

AND I'm supposed to be tutoring some guy in algebra,

    how embarrassing is that???? Lol....
