Some things i don't get. In Genesis Davros controled a Dalek by his chair by a switch. So why couldn't he do that when the Daleks at the end rebeled against him?
He must of put a programme on the casings to prevent them rebeling.
And what is Davros being put on trial for excatly? (i know he betrayed them but betrayed... how?)
@GTAIVFan17 In Ressurrection of the Daleks he went against the orders of the Supreme Dalek and experimented on live Dalek tissue, turning the Daleks against the Supreme.
@GTAIVFan17 he is on trial because the grey daleks taking him away are loyal to the supreme dalek, because he is NOT a dalek, and is claiming to be the ruler of AND ruling most of the daleks. the white and gold ones are loyal to him.
I don't think we've seen the last of him. This guy just doesn't know how to die. It was a good decision of them to rest the Daleks a bit since RTD had really overused them, but ohh, he WILL be back... If not for anything else, then at least for the sake of hearing Matt Smith say "bye bye, Davros".
supreme, we find out that in "Revelation" their has been now emperor for some time and they follow orders of the supreme meaning they're from the same timeline as "Day of.." Daleks but the same timeline as Hartnell's or Troughton's Daleks.
It is known that their are two Dalek timelines. If I recall it was the Genesis story that sparked anew timeline but if you fast forward to the Paradigm Daleks how are they created?! Well i suppose they sent a drone back in time to sample pure Dalek DNA around the time of Hartnell's First Dalek encounter. If wibbly wobbly timey wimey is to be used then the Daleks from "Day of.." have interrupted their own timeline because that is 22nd century (I believe) and those Daleks follow command of the su
its a pity that the white and gold daleks were only showd twice i quite enjoyed them i remember waking up on christmas morn and i found rememberence of the daleks and revalation of the daleks and boy did i luv them..... IMPERIAL DALEK FTFW
@XbaellX yeah, he didn't die,it will take time explain how he came back in rememberence of the daleks and revelation of the daleks, I would just watch the episode
@sebbrown1 I don't think that would be possible. It'd be like having Hitler without the Nazis - actually it would be Hitler without the Nazis! But then it would be cool to see Davros's beginning and how he came up with the idea of inventing the Daleks! I'd love to know how he got crippled in the first place!
Good idea you had for Davros surviving at the end of Journey's End - it's just the sort of thing he would do! You should send it in to Steven Moffat for the next series of DW!
I love Davros! Julian Bleach played him amazingly, showing a new side to Davros in Journey's End. Oouh, it was a most epic ending...But I hope they haven't killed Davros off, Terry Nation wanted Davros to feature in all the Dalek stories, and after Genesis he did, up until 2005 to 2008 - where he was only referred to.
@JHollowayNetwork To be honest, I think it's Davros who is more satisfied with the fact he now has freedom from the Daleks, all they do is pester him and annoy him..
Any explanation as to how he came back from the dead all those times? I know for his last appearance it was explained away by Dalek Caan's time-shifting shenanigans, but do they justify it at any other time?
Davros is sucked into the bottomless vortex of infanite doom, at the very heart of the abyss of no return, destroying every atom of his body and wiping his very existence from history.
@TheGameMasterXD It's a reference to the show Mystery Science Theater 3000. During the tenure of its second host, whenever he left a planet, it blew up. He was named Mike Nelson, Destroyer of Worlds...
@Pikatroid42 I appreciated your joke. Mike Nelson may have destroyed more worlds than The Doctor and The Daleks combined. :) Though none of his were intentional if I remember correctly.
Man, when Davros said that line about the Doctor being the Destroyer of worlds, I just couldn't help but snort in disbelief. How deluded can you get: create a mutated version of your own people, then destroy them by betrayal, then get killed yourself. THEN they find they actually need you because they're not the perfect super race! Daleks are the world destroyers, and Davros their favourite pet
I enjoy the new series, but the end of this video shows one of its more annoying traits. The Doctor forgiving and offering to save the most evil bad guys. I know he's trying to redeem himself after the Time War, but he had no problem carrying out seeming genocide on the Daleks, several times, in the new series. Yet he offers to rescue Davros and hugs the Master to show how he's changed? Matt Smith seems to have his priorities straight, with his assault on a defenseless Dalek with a wrench.
I'm sure that he's not done for good yet. Those technicolor Daleks might have some use for him...
It was a great idea of them to have his voice turn into that unsettling metallic rasp anytime he speaks louder than a whisper... But... wasn't there also a part were Colin pwns him? It seems to be missing here... Anyway, the one where Tom freezes him is still the best. "Bye, Bye, Davros!" Does anyone else thing that there's something sexy about Tom Baker's hand?
How did Davros come back when he got infected by the virus, I watched the episode after that and I don't get it still. Plz tell me how and great video.
He was collecting dust in the bunker over the years, Genesis is the first Dalek story ,chronologically. But I hate the post Genesis stories...Davros hogged the spotlight and the Daleks got second fiddle.
Plus the Daleks were reduced to obedient drones. In the 60's and 70's, the Daleks were a really huge threat to everyone....in the 80's, they were nothing but simple trouble makers.
Davros gets shot, frozen, infected by a virus and put on trial and finally blown up as a result of creating the Daleks. Not to mention all the time he spends arguing and shouting at them. Almost makes you wonder why he still bothers with them instead of creating something new...
I hope to god that Davros is dead after the stolen earth well unless he used emergency temperal shift but after being shit frozen etc you would have thought he would give up
