@SjPsych Yeah, so she said, but the recorded time that had been on the home computer's history for "chloroform" was at the same time the mother was working. I think her mom just covered for her, but since that was a conflicting story it was insubstantial evidence as no one could confirm or deny it, the whole thing was thrown out of court.

I personally feel there is a lot more to the story than what was in the media and in the court. I know that seems like I'm going with the story she said in court, but I see it as she was involved and so were her parents. I didn't follow the case closely, but at the time of these searches was an alibi given for her father too?

@SjPsych I couldn't tell you there. There was a ton of hype for sure. But the fact is the woman acted irrationally. Casey knew what happened to her daughter when a 911 call was made by her mother ("I don't have anything to say to them" says Casey in the background). Then she proceeded to act like the victim of a kidnapping. I think Caylee was noisy, thus the chloroform search to silence the child & the duct tape. Accidental? maybe. Rage killing? Likely. Casey should be in a mental ward.

@SjPsych wrong, Mom was at work. hospital computer guy testified that she was logged on to hosp computer at the times the searches were done at the house. Mom was trying to add to "reasonable doubt". Verdict was wrong but there was alot they didnt get to see.
