  • how did I GET FROM SNOWCONES TO THIS?

  • @ultimateawseome At least you remember where you started.

  • @ultimateawseome what...were u doin watchin vids about snowcones?? lol!

  • @coolsims94 lol actually yeah I was don't ask why

  • I'm still on my 28" CRT TV which is one of theese huge fat TV's. Got it for free and still use it. Samsung is hoping for me to go out and buy one of their new LED TV's but that ain't going to happen because like 2 months later a new one is going to come out.

  • We Americans can't develop thin tvs like that.

  • how much for sale or has that not been set yet ???

  • So what... damn... you JUST by something new and then 6 months later they come out with something even "better" and "more advanced. It's getting ridiculous, its stupid...

  • @musubi69 Yeah, have U seen the UHD TV's... they're insane!

  • SO MUCH TALKING BUT WHERE'S THE SUBJET OF THIS TALKING??? Ah yes, 7 seconds of it!!!!!

  • 2 min video... showed the actual tv for about 7 seconds

  • Wow that's thin

  • If this brings down the prices for 50" lcd screens make them! I don't really need a tv this thin.

  • haha the thumbnail link made me think theyd started some mechanical pencil venture

  • it doesnt convert 2d 3d, that happens in a seperate box u can buy for € 30.000,-, which is meant for television companies... and its not perfect 3d but stacked cutouts, like an advanced automated version of photoshop's content-aware tool i figure. haven't seen a demo like the author, have read the specs unlike the author

  • its not realy 3d, its high refresh, people who are into computers have been using lcd shutter glasses since the mid 90s and they are even older than that, i had a pair in 96 and bought another in 02 (for about 50 bucks on ebay). with a high refresh rate it alternates images on the screen and turns on and off each eye in sync with the images, and if you monitor has 120hz refresh, you get 60hz per eye, minimum for flicker free. newer screens can do 200+hz refresh allowing for very clear 3d.

  • i want oled 32 inches

  • @bleachhidalgo159 samsung are gonna make a 42 inch OLED tv in 2011, probably be really expensive though, like £2,000,000 lol

  • TOMUCH FKN TALKING ONLY A COUPLE OF SECS OF THEM SHOWING THE TV> WOW

  • Comment removed

  • So? OLED's are as thin as paper.

  • @iTehTunePawd indeed, LCD's backlights often benefit from a certain thickness, samsung puts the backlight always on the side of the display instead of spreading it over the whole surface which isnt the best backlight technology, just keeps the thing thin.

and btw, samsung is the one, talking proudly since 2005 about upcoming OLED models, but we havent seen a single one yet!

  • woot go korea ftw!

  • sky is going to hav there part into 3d its so oviuse. it will be called sky 3d and there will be 3d channels. then something better comes out. do u need 3d glasses to watch these hd 3d tv

  • That shit is amazing, although I kinda think that those tv's are too fragile.

  • @jayrellz Oh he forgot to mention they have multi-spatial forcefields :P

  • @Pilkingtube I guess so, they must also have an elastic protection case that will make the tv bounce when dropped.

  • I'm not saying a word!

  • well samsung just released the C7000 LED series with 3D and is 1.1' thin and it is already at $3299 for the 55" so just imagine what the C9000 will cost.

  • seriously , who needs a pencil thin tv? I am fine with a normal one......

  • who needs your comment? no one. but thankyou anyway

  • @Srinathor wat u mean a box tele or a hd one

  • he said "pretty expensive" LOL

  • i hate ur vid,, many advertisements!

  • switchblades are obsolete! Now you can stab someone with a led tv so you dot have miss your favorite tv show while doing the dirty work.

  • the thinnest tv in the world is sonys OLED tv but only comes in small sizes and produces higher than HDTV as it uses organic LED's so produces alot more natural colors but really expensive

  • JUNK TVS

  • @qoohkLive7

poop~ sony created LED?? if you have no idea, please shut up.

Russian Oleg Vladimirovich Losev created a LED in 1927.

nowadays, its all bout shell design and combining existing technology to make something comparatively new.

there is no really "creation" in human work. if samsung is the winner it is the winner.

  • y does samsung gets all the credit for creating LED

    but sony did :(

  • Is a TV that thin really necessary? What's the point?

  • space

  • @sharoz4

It's against the wall. Space isn't an issue. If wall space was an issue, then the person wouldn't get a big screen. This extra skinny TV is a waste of time and money.

  • i know and understand what you are sayin'.

but i am pretty much in materialism.

you may say its waste money but for certain people who does not care how much they spend for a tv, car, stuff and etc...

those ppl wanna show off and have somethin rare which usually makes more value. also as far as im concerned, since its' thickness there will be more creative ways to make your room or space look better. i would go for this samsung one than bang & olufsen's personally.

  • @TweakPro

So, you're saying that we should all stick to thick, heavy LCD and Plasma T.Vs and not advance by using less and for efficient materials?

Space IS an issue when it comes to transport. The less space it takes inside a trailer, the less they will charge.

  • then you must be living in a box my friend

  • @TweakPro

Space IS an issue when it comes to transport you know.

  • In Japan they are 2mm so cool!!!

  • anyone comment on reporter looks are retarded.

if you want to see good looking sexy reporter,go watch naked news.Leave us technology enthusiasts alone.

  • look at the width of that screen. we're pretty much in scifi territory already.

  • I'm drooling of led TV. It makes my first generation LCD TV look like shit.

  • also, consumers' purchase tell which manufacturer is winner. people do not purchase if a product is not enough quality and visually attractive. design wise samsung/lg are far better than any japanese brands.

fyi, last year,2009, samsung made same amount money that 9 major japanese manufacturers made. isn it quite amazing?? do not say copy or somethin'. there is no real origianlity in this world anymore or from the beginning of human history.

maybe finding way of gettin fire would be??

  • Once you get below like half an inch thick, I don't see why you'd need something even thinner. Fucking awesome though.

  • @aliabdalla4

There are several technologies that do just this. They are a bit expensive though, so they're trying to get costs down.

  • dam cant wait untile they are out the led tv those are so dam thin those would be great as hell hangin on my wall or even as a computer monitor I want one and I want it now lol

  • Dude, the reporter is so ugly. WOW.

But TV is cool :) No reason to make it thin though!

  • SAMSUNG IS SOO RETARDED

    they always TAKE THE CREDIT

    LED = SONY

    NOT SAMSUNG

    3D IS NOT SAMSUNG TOO

and they make it LIKE THEY CREATED

  • @qoohkLive7 im pretty sure they are using there brand new technology the AMOLED technology. Which they created. Uses organic LED's which have a new Active Matrix setup for a thinner way of providing power.

  • f**k that i want it i got the 6000series and paid1700 the newest one is the 8500 and its 4200-3700 i was gona get it but now im going to wait and save up for this one they said it'll prob be releaseed at the end of the year it'll prob be around 6000

  • i can hardly afford a series 6 .... :(

  • Your vidos are so fucking slowly loading,.. or its just my internet.

  • its just your internet cause mine loaded in like 4 seconds.

  • this guy scares me

  • Wow that is too thin. Technology is ridiculous.

  • thinner than a pencil? seems like it would snap easily

  • @plutoend99 lmao! very intelligent comment!

    plus 1

  • wow

  • man i think there is such a thing as TOO thin thats just kinda uneccesary

  • well if you think about it, what they're going for in the future is OLED wallpaper. Imagine going into your room and using a bluetooth remote to have a lovely beach scenery all around all self lit so it looks like you're really there.

  • xilovehatersx, I agree. Honestly, I really just need a big (40in+) and lightweight TV. Thinness is cool and makes it lightweight but sometimes too thin is unnecessary. You're basically watching the TV from the front anyway and you rarely look at the sides of the TV. You know what I mean?

  • it's not thin for practicality, samsung is just showing us, "hey look at us, we can make stuff this tiny, therefore we have awesome technology"

  • @egglumber yes

  • dudes got some HUGE fucking ears.

  • looks fragile

  • i wonder how much?

  • did this guy get stabed in the head lmfao omg im laughing soooo hard

  • hahahahaha ....... you made me cry.

  • from laughing or was my comment hurtful lol it is tru tho

  • bjez

  • lol the end add has better quality then the movie -.-

  • waa...i want a paper thin tv

  • i have the samsung LED 7000 and damn i want this!

  • GOD DAMN

  • I love how a show called Tekzilla can't figure out how to keep the audio levels the same throughout different segments of the video

  • if its that thin then how to plug in things into like hdmi and scart?

  • Comment removed

  • @qwertyjmkop the point the person below is making, is the question of plugging it in surely takes away any of the practical advantages of having such a thin TV. Unless it uses only wireless streamed content, which im thinking it does.

  • They'll probably come with a separate box for inputs and tuners.

  • How much?

  • nope, not the thinest tv, sony has an oled that is half the thickness

  • Samsung also has OLED TV but the biggest size I believe is 30 somewhat inches and the price is crazy. Also OLED TVs are not out yet. This TV will hit the market in spring this year.

  • @jaluttrell

Yeah you get your info from your dreams fool~

  • Do you think the 9000 will have local dimming and they never say anything about the contrast radio

  • 0:28 idk what shiner the mirrors or that guys head XD

  • He has a mic in his hand.. and i can barely hear him.

  • That is amazing!

  • If I owned one I would be scared to crack it!!

  • there is a way, the idea is to divide the 2d video in to 2 separate videos, 1 for each eye. this of course requires a lot of editing too, so it's definitely not worth the trouble and millions spent.

  • How do you make something shot in 2D into 3D?

  • Pause @ 1:10!!!!!!!!

  • @MriBackup what am i looking for if i pause at 1:10?

  • i dont know? :-/

  • is roku TEH ONLY sponsor of techzilla?

  • I think they must have signed a deal to sponsor them for the ces trip

  • If that were true, I'd have have a better TV. Maybe one that didn't weight 80 pounds.

    -Damien

  • sorry what?

  • also write reply to what question

  • that's one sexy tv

  • Pretty Damn cool. But, does this television have any HD input or output or sd slots or usb slots? We all know that tv is soon going to be intergrated with the computer.

  • @FredrichNietzsche25 Obviously, it's Wireless except the power outlet.

  • DAYUM!!!!!!!!

  • FIONA!!!!!!

  • so if u dont use the glasses u cant watch it in 3d

  • tht kinda sucks

  • No, you can toggle the 3D on/off.

  • What happened to the audio?

  • the LG one is 0.1 inch or 2.6mm

  • Comment removed

  • Is that a statement or a Question??!?

  • FOR you FROM the show floor

  • sexy led tv
