  • I get the sarcasm but stick to philosophy related stuff. Depressed skeptic has to be my fav. Of your videos so far

  • @littlesenseatmost Thanks for the advice, but you're not the only person who watches my videos. If I only made the ones that you like, the 400+ people who liked this one would have missed out.

  • oh how fun i think a real War on Religion would be, too bad it's unlikely to happen anytime soon and when it does i suppose it will be fought diffrently than wars fought today... anyways, very funny video, thanks for the laugh :}

  • I'd vote for Proportional Response without a second thought. Unless for the tiny irrelevant fact that I'm not even American...

  • um GI, the other candidates are WAYYYYY FUCKING WORSE! You are saying you would rather see rick perry get elected?

  • @MoralRapist Kindly note the annotation at the end of the video, or just the second link of the description.

  • @GrapplingIgnorance Most people seemed to get it. I wouldn't call it "impossible." Sorry you missed it.

  • @GrapplingIgnorance i was replying to your sarcasm with sarcasm. thought you would get it.

  • @MoralRapist sarcasception

  • @MoralRapist Sarcasm is hardly an ideal way to respond to sarcasm.

    LOL sarcasm.

  • @futton9 Look at the comment section, and you might be surprised.

  • Love it, I'm geared up to go to war to the north pole

  • awesome video, I hope some xtians think this is real

    PR 2012!!!

  • Thing the is, you appeared to be somber throughout the video

  • @Brig4der I appeared throughout this video?

  • @GrapplingIgnorance Your voice had the same somber tone similar to your other videos which made it improbable to conclude you were being sarcastic unless one read the second link in the description.

  • I'm letting my vote on either Cthulu or Santa depend on a coin toss.

  • Has any US government won a war in the past 30 years?

  • Politics is just so debatable, there is no right or wrong, in the end political opinion is based on mindset. It's especially hard in The States where there are so many walls built to protect instability. But it's not my decision or opinion.

  • I am in agreement with you (what you mean, not what you're saying literally; I know it's sarcasm).

I would just like to point out that you made a couple of (very minor) spelling errors in your description. "Rick Perry and Fox News have claimed Obama has wages war..." (should be "waged" instead of "wages") and "won't be wasting a vote on this wishy-washy, indidual in 2012" (should be "individual" instead of "indidual").

  • You mean to tell me we are losing two simultaneous imaginary wars?! Americans have no imagination whatsoever.

  • good... you're alive... now make more videos

  • I'm not even american and this is fucking hilarious

  • @terra61 Your sense of humor seems to grasp this video better than that of several American viewers who failed to detect my sarcasm.

  • Your videos are always so cool! Another great one dude....

  • Bomb the crap out of the North Pole for several years believing Santa to be hiding out in a cave. Turns out he was hiding in a luxury grotto in Scandinavia.

  • I'm not sure if nuking the North will work for certain. From what I hear, the Keebler elves are letting him use their tree as a safe-house.

  • I must admit GI, you had me going for a bit, haha.

  • I believe a more tolerant behavior, with freedom to practice your own religion (thou some might be social unacceptable by some) we shouldnt involve ourselves with the lives of others. Other religions opposite from yours arent forcing you to practice their religion and if you believe that society is creating a atmosphere where you have to, that is what you think and that thought only gets stronger when you fuel it. Live and let live you are in control of your own life as others are of theirs.

  • Yeah Obama should wrap himself in christmas garland, soak it in gasoline, light it up, and go die in a fire. But yeah Grappling Ignorance if you want better government just keep dreaming.

  • Maybe politics isn't your thing.

  • Yay! PR for Prez!

  • Hey calm down. He is being sarcastic.

  • "For those who seriously think this is an anti-Obama video" your subs aren´t that dense

  • I certainly wish there WAS a war on religion- it's a long time overfuckingdue. I have to drive past billboards asking me to 'Keep Christ in Christmas'. These idiots don't even know that Christmas is a pagan celebration of the winter solstice the Christians reverse-engineered and marketed as their own Jesus birthday celebration (after they had attempted to stamp it out and failed). Any honest biblical scholar will tell you the commonly accepted Christmas story is a bunch of bullshit.

  • Stick to serious videos. Humor is not your forte.

  • @solinoure I enjoyed it.

  • @solinoure About 400 people liked this video, so I guess they got something positive out its existence.

  • @GrapplingIgnorance You do good videos, that is why I subscribe. This was the first time I saw you attempt humor. Maybe you will tickle my funny bone the next time you try. I regret my language being so insensitive.

  • @solinoure I don't think you were insensitive, and I don't mind criticism. The point is that a lot of people enjoyed it, and discouraging the production of something that hundreds of people enjoy because you dislike it doesn't make much since to me. Had you worded it as "Your humor is not to my liking" or something to that effect, I'd consider it fair criticism.

  • @GrapplingIgnorance I am inclined to vicious verbal hyperbole. Thank you for being so gracious. Lets put it this way: the tone you used in your video made me feel like it was I that was the but of your joke. I see that now, and I know that I most likely took it that way for the same reasons I have so venomous a tongue.

  • In your war against Christmas, you have my sword.

  • Yeah, where's our war on Christmas and religion! ??

  • @

    mikestheman3

    AD HOMINEM

  • @Gagi420 Read the description!

  • perfect video man XD

  • Also, keep in mind that Obama isn't an inner-city/ghetto or working class black. He is staunchly upper middle class, and there are two kinds of upper middle: Those loyal to the uppers, such as lawyers and butlers (both of which need at least 6 years of postsecondary education), and those who threaten to displace and eventually replace the established elite, such as Bill Gates. I think he wants to be the later, but circumstances are forcing him to be the former.

  • Can't tell if serious, or trollin'.

  • @Gagi420 See the second link in the description suggested by the red annotation.

  • @GrapplingIgnorance Ah, I had not noticed. Thank you, my good man.

  • @mikestheman3 I hope you're joking. Why the hell should his country of birth matter anyway? The rule that prevents non-natives from holding presidential offices is out-dated and irrelevant. I don't care where a person is from, so long as (s)he can do the job well.

  • @GrapplingIgnorance What other specific provisions of the Constitution do you shit upon as being 'out-dated and irrelevant'?

  • @evensgrey maybe the part that says that slaves count as a 1/3 in a census, oh wait that was abolished along side of slavery. how about that only the men vote, wait that was was changed too. in god we trust on money, wait that wasn't on there until ww1 for a moral boost so that doesn't count. only straight men can be in the military, no that's been changed too! i'm seeing a cycle of the change in times here... do you?

  • @bigbadronin Let's see, the one thing all of those have in common is that they are all provisions in the US Constitution only in your deranged imagination.

There is still a (never repealed) provision that specifies that slaves count as 3/5 of a person for the purpose of apportioning Congressional districts. Abolitionists failed to get their way and reduce the political representation of Slave States by not counting the disenfranchised slaves at all.

  • @evensgrey so i gotta tell my slaves that they are still counted as 3/5 of a person... how the hell do you think that's gonna blow over. all tasteless humor aside. there are laws and regulation in the constitution and outside the constitution that are out of date and have long passed they're usefulness. hypothetically, if a family from europe moves over with their 2 week old baby and the kid grows up to be a political prodigy able to fix everything wrong they cant be prez cause of it.

  • @bigbadronin So, do you propose to just ignore the Constitution (and so destroy the entire legal basis for the existence of the US), or do you propose to follow the legal process to change it to remove these things "that are out of date and have long passed they're usefulness" of which you demonstrate total ignorance?

  • @evensgrey never said throw away the constitution its just time it gets an update. right now the people in congress are bickering over party lines and working for the big corporations who put them in office instead of worrying about the good of the county. not to mention that most of them are out of date with modern times, look up SOPA and PROTECT IP. you and me can see its a bad idea, most of the congress dont even know wth its talking about but it sounds good to them so it might pas

  • @bigbadronin Did you bother reading any further, or did that feeble mind of your falter after the first nine words?

  • @evensgrey no i read the whole comment its just most of it is an attempt to insult me so most of it has no real merit to the "debate". i had really hoped you would have acted like an adult and stopped trying to insult me because calling someone feeble minded or ignorant out of context just makes you look childish. so considering that you cant have a conversation like a civilized adult there is no point in talking to you any further.

  • @bigbadronin So, having established that you really didn't read beyond the first 9 words in the first place, and that you've been unable to read any of my comments to a greater degree than that, and that you really can't follow the conversation you're involved in, you're going to go away and hide you ignorance and stupidity away.

  • @evensgrey so now that we have established that your a moron who has no idea what they are talking about, yes i read you entire comment. there is no real legal possess to changing the constitution cause changing the constitution is frown upon and seen as unamerican. im only saying that a lot of it is out of date and needs changes because times have changed. 60-80 year olds decide the fate of a country they are out of touch from. they bitch over party lines, and pander to the needs---

  • @bigbadronin Yes, we're all aware that you don't know anything about the US Constitution, and you're unable to form coherent thoughts. We don't need you to keep reminding us of this fact.

  • @evensgrey whatever troll go back to 4chan and jerk to some kiddie porn. leave the people with lives alone.

  • @bigbadronin OK, so you plan to keep trolling, proudly declaring your ignorance of the things you vomit and shit on, and insulting anyone who calls you on it.

  • @evensgrey ---of big corporations instead of the people like they are suppose to. every day they ignore the needs of the many for the needs of the party. enough is enough, to sit here and call me ignorant and stupid just proves more and more that your a moron yourself.

  • @bigbadronin You keep STATING that you're ignorant of the US Constitution, and you've also stated that you're ignorant of US politics (where changing the Constitution when something you don't like is protected is a popular notion, although it rarely actually happens, although people like Obama are very happy to just shit on the Constitution and bypass the protections it does have).

Are you going to educate yourself, or do you plan to just keep stating your ignorance?

  • @evensgrey no seriously go back to 4chan, if all your gonna do is attempt to troll people do it on 4chan.

  • @bigbadronin Indeed you should, as you've turned out to be trivially wrong about every specific claim you've made.

  • @evensgrey bye troll i have a life i need to get back to enjoy your kiddie porn on 4chan

  • @bigbadronin How much wattage are you using in that projector?

  • @evensgrey The constitution is nothing but a document drafted by fallible humans hundreds of years ago. It's open to interpretation, and only continues to change in small parts as we grow as a species. I don't consider it to be some supreme authority, and I really don't care if that offends people. I specifically disagree with refusing to let someone govern the country based on where they're from. I stand by that- even if the over-glorified founding fathers agreed on it.

  • @GrapplingIgnorance Ah, so you hold the entire principle of the rule of law in contempt, as the US Constitution IS the supreme authority for what is and is not lawful for the US Government to do.

Is there anyone stupid enough to think this thug could possibly be a good teacher?

  • @evensgrey Ahhh, I get it- you're trolling! Bravo.

  • @GrapplingIgnorance Ah, I see, you're stoned out of your mind. How else would you explain mistaking my recognition of your statement of total contempt for the rule of law for trolling?

  • @mikestheman3 if obama isnt an american citizen then this country is a lot more fucked up than we think

listen the dude was born in america

and i dont know what this idiot is talking about obamas war on religion

80-90% of americans are christian, declaring a war on religion would ruin his chances of reelection not to mention a war on religion would be unconstitusional

the war is that this country is mostly christian and ppl who arent are sick of seeing this crap everywhere

  • @coltsrule5150 By "this idiot" are you referring to Rick Perry or me?

  • @GrapplingIgnorance the guy asking for a birth certificate lol my bad thinking one thing typing another

  • @coltsrule5150 not to mention that it DOESN'T EVEN MATTER if he was born on U.S. soil

BOTH his parents are U.S. citizens and the law only requires 1 parent to be

    HE. HAS. CITIZENSHIP.

  • @crownedkitty67 Actually, the requirements for president include being born on US soil, not just being a US citizen or even the child of two US citizens. Like GI I find this requirement to be rather outdated and quite silly.

  • @MasauFuku yes but the argument is rather or not he's a citizen

funny how so many people don't know the difference between citizenship and presidential requirements though

  • @mikestheman3 If you wanna ditch any politician who supports NDAA, you're gonna have to ditch almost every one of them--both elected and seeking election. Frankly, I think this is exactly what needs to happen, but there's no chance of that.

  • @mikestheman3 I would say "'he has released one'" because he has.

  • @mikestheman3 dude

it DOESN'T EVEN MATTER if he was born on U.S. soil

BOTH his parents are U.S. citizens and the law only requires 1 parent to be

is Obama's not A U.S. citizen than neither is McCain (i think that's how its spelled) he wasn't even born in the U.S. (panama canal in case you were wondering)

    HE. HAS. CITIZENSHIP.

  • @mikestheman3 you are a conspiracy theorist. go fucking kill yourself

  • @mikestheman3 LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLCongrats your comment was so stupid it mad me LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL so much

  • as an atheist i supported the war on christmas. i took a second from my busy schedule of burning down churches and raping virgins so that i could go complain about christmas nativity scenes to my local congress. i figured while i was there that i would stop into the educational sector of congress and talk to my henchmen in the science industry to make sure that evilution still gets taught in schools instead of god. afterwards i stopped to get some food (a baby of course).

  • @greycloud24 I'm glad to see you're doing your part, solider.

  • @greycloud24 that was beautiful my brother! *sniff*

  • @greycloud24

just as long as your going to your secret "take over the christian world" meetings

we're only weeks away from operation K.K.P.P. (Kick Kittens and Poison Puppies)

and don't forget next weeks meeting will be in the bunker in Germany we keep Hitler in after our scientist brought him back to life and gave him immortality instead of the usual secret tunnels in Canada

and please bring your own juice box to the picnic with the Illuminati and K.K.K.

    thank-you

  • People think Obama's bad, but people usually only focus on what others don't do right. Like the old phrase, "If you do your job right, no one notices". I still remember his 2009 Egypt speech where he spoke of women's rights and denounced Iran for their holocaust denial, how he passed an act that raises women's pay, improved veteran healthcare, and dealt with the Somali pirates.

  • @jaymthegenius

I don't deal with Obama because he murdered thousands of innocent Libyans, resigned The Patriot Act, put in Sopa, and the other act which the title escapes me, something about a union act...all I know is it allows corporations to give as much money to a candidate as they want, which means we have no more politicians on our side. He is a horrible person. The only difference that would have happend if McCain was here is we'd be at war with Iran, and it looks like Obama is close.

  • @TheKenTerry I don't believe Obama is behind most of that, his job is to take responsibility for what corporations do. Obama probably wanted to repeal the Patriot Act, but when he became president he became privy to information he didn't have when he was running and may not even have a choice in the matter. I don't agree with much of what Obama did either, but there are other forces at play that influence him. I honestly thought people would hail Obama as a civil rights champion

  • (cont.) and icon when he won the election. His speech in Egypt and reconciliation between the Cambridge police officer and Henry Louis Gates Jr. at the White House looked very promising. I don't see how he could fall so quickly.

  • At least you won't be wasting your vote..

  • Haha! loved it. thank you. merry christmas

  • dammit will we never win a war against these abstract nouns?

  • That's amazing both the video and the link to sarcasm

  • Isn't N.O.R.A.D. tracking santa? Go figure, they can track a fictitious character.

  • Hippie Holidays!

  • I'll go with potholer54 and ProportionalResponse as vice prez!

  • We'll get you next year, holiday cheer. We'll get you next year.

  • The only other democrat running in 2012 is a homophobic anti-abortionist. Plenty of republicans though. Not like anyone else even pays attention to the libertarians etc like they deserve. Maybe 2012 is the end of the world.

  • WAR!!! (Flips Podium!) =)

  • I don't entirely agree. Even if the man in red hasn't been delivered in his own sack by Marines, the North Pole is just as uninhabitable now as it ever was—a sure sign that Obama is doing just as well as his presidential predecessors at keeping Santa at bay. He's probably hiding in an igloo somewhere, while lesser wannabe Santas try to carry on his mission without their leader. Even children can see his influence waning.

  • @KaineSpawnX That crafty bastard...

  • I'm voting for Cthulhu. After all, why vote for the lesser evil?

  • @Clavactis Compared to some ot the GOP candidates, Cthulhu IS the lesser evil.

  • @GrapplingIgnorance Cthulhu 2012?

  • whats funny about this is Ronald Reagan Christmas cards had a lack of religious symbols and dogs , and no one said a fucking thing.

  • Nah, nah, nah...don't vote like that! You want to vote Dance Party!

    BionicDance for President!

  • PR has my vote! You or DarkMatter should run with him.

  • Where have you been? Making fun of the war on Christmas while thousands of our troops are dying, getting stabbed and shot by those devilish elfs. It's like you don't watch Fox News man. Stop this bullshit. Catch up to things. Turn on the Onion News.

  • Oh please tell me PR's actually running, or at least going to be on the ballet first election I get to partake in looking forward to it!

  • @davidandkaze We can dream.

  • man people are gullible in the comments...

  • Brilliant tongue-in-cheek sarcasm. Thank you sir, may we have another?

(gives GI a hug) Happy holidays, boss!

  • No my good friend; I would (If I were a USA'an) vote for Santa Claus;

Like some republicans He gives without hiking taxes ;-)

  • You should have just come out and said Merry Christmas to end the war on Christmas, Lull them into a false sense of security, and have all mangers removed from public places.

  • Heehee you funny gee eye

  • @supergreenperson where*, get it right next time you fucking thunder cunt!

  • Also, I love Christmas, hate most of the traditions, like the shitty songs and cartoons, or that FUCKING TREE, but I like making Christmas treats, and the present giving and receiving. the fact that I've never had a Christmas were there was any fucking snow, is annoying though, I live in PA, and there's never any fucking Christmas snow at my house...

  • @CABALCORE100 Later that day..... OHHHHHHHHH! I get it now... hehehe...

  • Everyone running for president is a lobbyist dick head except Ron Paul, but I can't fucking stand that being my best choice. If it comes down to either special interests, or a dinosaur with cultist followers, I guess I choose the latter, and I hear he's pro legalization of weed, haven't looked into it yet though. But seriously, were boned.

  • @TheJamesrocket You realize this video is sarcastic, right?

  • @TheJamesrocket Hey, i watch Faux news to keep my world-view-foot-print as small as possible, any more channels and i can not compute what to make of it. So, I then turn to Glen beck and Rush Limbaugh to figure it all out for me so i can understand what a good patriot is supposed to in one country subjugated to god. Seasons Greed-ings

  • Another casualty of christmas here. I faught bravely and valiantly, but alas Christmas again has left me exhausted, stressed out and hundreds of dollars poorer.

  • @dangerouslytalented I saw your video- tragic stuff man, just tragic.

  • I vote for DPRjones for prez!!! (even if I'm canadian)

  • If PR ran for president, he would definitely get my vote!

  • I don't mind Christmas actually...I'm in it for the gifts...nothing else...just being honest...

  • I liked how he didn't say "God bless America" at Thanksgiving anyway. I'm sure the indigenous appreciated it; the ones that made it anyway. Stop slave imports; it's the secular thing to do. Happy Holidays.

  • @PawnBACM He did

  • @MJFAN666 Wow. He changed his mind on "God bless America" for Thansgiving? I didn't see that news update.

  • @MJFAN666 I really can't find it anywhere. Are you intending sarcasm directed at the "gods of war" or do you have a link I could avail?

  • @PawnBACM uhhh.. I think I saw him say "god bless America" or "Thank you God". I believe i saw it in Liberal Viewr's vdeo. Can't find link right now.

  • @MJFAN666 Don't worry about it. I went a few hundred hits into a query, which I am normally pretty targeted, and couldn't find anything beyond people specifically denigrating him for not doing it. It might have happened. It could have. Thanks anyway. Peace. Happy Holidays.

  • @PawnBACM Well.I might b wrong about that. Happy new year and merry christmas

  • @MJFAN666 I hope everyone has a better 2012; especially OWWhatever. :) Peace.

  • Poor elves in body bags.

  • Why do so many Christians have this persecution complex? It baffles me to no end. The only explanation that I've come to is that media sources like Fox "News" fabricate these issues. And then, as insecure, irrational and delusional as religious folk tend to be, they just eat it up.

  • @melowar78 I'd say it goes back to, if not further, Karl Marx's "enemy image" that needs to be perpetrated to hold a populous together. More and more, (In more reasonable circles) Outward religion is almost frowned upon as there are always more secular and ideal answers to problems, as well as logic fueled openings to the "In God we trust" or "under God" arguments, densely packed religo-social groups that still need Faux News guidance/etc have shown it works to oppress. So it is used.

  • @melowar78 "Why do so many Christians have this persecution complex?" Because the Bible says that christians will be persecuted for their beliefs, so they take that as another prophecy. But the news flash is that ANY minority throughout history has suffered persecution for not agreeing with the status quo. The early Roman empire persecuted christians for not accepting the Roman deities. When Christians became a majority, they persecuted pagan faiths, and so on...

  • i usually find the over the top satire funny, but this one was a miss in my opinion

  • @executionator That's perfectly fine. Much better than those who can't detect the sarcasm.

  • THE FOLLOWING IS OUR SALVATION: ProportionalResponse: President. theskepticalheretic: Vice President. TheMelianDialogue: Secretary of State. cobrajones: Secretary of the Fed. lacigreen: Secretary of Education. GrapplingIgnorance: [TOP SECRET] (If I tell you I'd have to kill you)

  • @TheRepublicOfUngeria Thunderf00t: Secretary of Science

  • @TheRepublicOfUngeria Sounds like a list of people I'd vote for.

Just one thing who's the science advisor? I've seen a LOT of people on youtube that'd be pretty darn good at it, at least from what I can tell.

  • lulz

  • I'd vote for my former mayor Rocky Anderson if a: we abolished the electoral college and made popular vote the sole determination for president (would also end gerrymandering for presidential elections). and b: we instituted a preferential voting method that actually brings real competition into the arena (Schulze method is the most superior method, but is almost unheard of, so I'd settle for Instant Runoff Voting (aka Alternative Voting))

  • @GrapplingIgnorance Happy Holidays? Really? You say you're voting for Proportional Response, but I very clearly remember HIM saying "Seasongs Greetings" much to my chagrin. He's obviously waging a war on holidays and is trying to be as neutral as possible to Australia, what with the "seasons". It could only mean winter here and summer down there. Yet we all know the earth is flat and Australians do NOT hang upside down from by their feet in Australia. So what gives?

  • There IS a war on Christmas! Why do you think NORAD tracks Santa Claus? So they can shoot down his holly-jolly ass for violating American airspace.

  • Alas, what would we do for humor without the current crop of kooks in the Republican Party. Funny stuff, sir.

  • Is the mistake in the title on purpose?

  • @FMJInertia Note if you didn't see it, it's the "Faliures" in the title. Bit ironic, aint it? ;)

  • NUKE the North Pole!! Santa, you're goin' down bitch.

  • @jalbador Then we'll be overrun by hordes of radioactive elves!

  • @GoblinXXX Tricky little bastards aren't they lol

  • @jalbador Don't I know it! Elves are a Goblin's natural enemies.

  • What is your view on the possibility of America breeding out intelligence from the masses?

  • Do you really think it is a good idea to nuke Canada? We recently added rocks to our snowballs.

  • @rampage7777 We fear the vicious Canadian trained attack moose, and the possibility of a Maple syrup embargo.

  • @GoblinXXX That actually sounds pretty nice. Canada, invade them while they have their guard down.

  • @RichardWhereat If you try to invade us we will show no mercy as we pelt you with Timbits.

  • @jalbador You REALLY don't want to do that. If the bulk of the U.S. citizens figure out how good Tim Horton's standard fair is McDonalds and the fast food chains like it will be run out of the country.

Or worse. The invaders will refuse to leave, maybe even suggesting you switch to other food items.

  • @jalbador I'm from Australia, when we invade you'll know it. Millions of Assault Kangaroos will come flying out of the ocean to eat all your best grass, carrying the deadly dropbears in their pouches.

  • Wow. Hopefully you're not to naive to think you'll find a better candidate supporting the issues you mention. When you focus on the parts of a candidacy that didn't go as you wanted, you should ask yourself what the other leading candidates would've done. Unfortunately it's not about getting 100% of anything, but hanging on the best possible chances, and clawing a bit more forward. Obama is a fair minded articulate progressive. Please don't flush your vote down the toilet!
