@brendongonwild A company called Revell make them, just search 'Revell Soviet infantry 1:72' in google and it should come up with them and vice versa with the German soldiers
@hardcoremedic In fact there were only 2 left after retreting from Seelow to take defensive positions around the Tiergarten and the Brandenburg gate. They were later on blown up by their own crew. There were also a few ramaining Tigers and King Tigers too in Berlin
I recognize Revell Germans and Pegasus figures too. Nice buildings, good rubble is hard to do and look convincing. I have been working on the Battle of Berlin too, the opening page of my blog has the Reichstag on it.
I love this video, can you please make a video on how to make the dioramas e.i buildings, floor, scenery, foxholes/craters, cause I have an extensive collection of airfix models (albeit not very well made) and would love to put some videos on youtube?
@SirAceMcFly I used a Gorilla Pod but when i pressed the button on my camera down it pushed down on the tripod because its not very sturdy so in future i need one of those things which can take photos remotely, anyway thanks for watching.
HOLY CRAP THIS IS AWESOME!!! can you *PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE* tell me where/what-the-set-is-called to get the army men cause that looks awesome. really liked the vid!! how did you make the buildings?
Brilliant film, well constructed, the only critisism I can muster is that the fire effects look kind of retarded, and the blood is too bright. But really. GREAT video. Something to be proud of.
@TheBoyo1234 I took lots of picutures of the troops moving with the tank, then i went on the internet and looked up the kar 98 sniper scope to see what it looked like, then i went onto fireworks which is image editing software and created the scope template, then i added in front of all the images i took and added it into the film. It sounds complex but it's really not.
This is definitely the best video youve done yet. It's also great that youre using 1/72 scale, it only confirms how much hard work youve put into this project as theyre much harder to work with than large scale figures. Have you started using some new software as this is very different from the film you did with the pontoon bridge?
@nicktalbot666 I used the latest version of windows movie maker which isn't the best video editing software out there but the video seemed to look good enough with it. I edited the photos with macromedia fireworks which is similar to photoshop but i find it easier. Yeah it is a lot different, i planned out everything throughly to what the building would look like to every camera angle, sometimes it took me 2-3 times to get the scene absoultly right. Thank you very much.
