I am pleased to see the Obama staffer handled these kooks with respect even though they have no clue what they are talking about. The oilsands are a model of environmental responsibility so says Dr. Patrick Moore, co-founder of Greenpeace. He bases his view on science - unfortunately for this group, they use lies, misinformation and hysteria. It is a US decision to build the pipeline or not but keep the Cdn oilsands out of it. And name calling, like calling it dirty oil, does not make it so.

Question: Can the President "deny the permit for the proposed Keystone XL pipeline," as demanded or is that a matter for Congress? Do these protestors mean they are demanding that the President veto a bill involving the pipeline? If their demand is not met, do they intend to fund a GOP candidate, or simply withold their money and votes to allow a GOP candidate to win the presidency?
