It was a pice of free stock footage I had for a long time. Just keep doing what you're doing and you will do some cool things. It's all in the compositing.

I had a model of a plane that I animated across and rotated it. I rendered with global illumination to match the lighting and make more realistic.

The smoke effect was done using some stock footage. I try not to use Particles because they look a bit fake and take too much time to make it look real.

Syntheyes is not free but it does have the same features as Boujou which is over 6 grand.

Syntheyes is a 3D cameray tracking program. It's very affordable. You should goog it and check it out. Hope this helps.

Yes. You don't need to have the BEST most EXPENSIVE matchmoving software. II use syntheyes which is just as good as the rest. And affordable. The hard part is getting the calibration right.

Im just playing on useing voodoo its free but If I find syntheyes torrent or else I get a deal on it or something but in syntheyes do you animate it in there or do you save the video file in syntheyes then import it into a animating program? Cuase im planing on using XSI 6.0

That's cool. Most Matchmove programs allow easy export to XSI. I'm MAC based. I can't used Voodoo. But if I did I always wanted to check that program out.
