6 foot flat landing of course something going to break. i just built my self a small kicker out of some scrap wood from a job site, an take it to a large grass or dirt landing that has some slope like 30 degrees, i snowboard an i know flat landing are tough on the knees let alone on some nylon arms a skid plate haha i took my truck out after i build my jump on some pavement haha i learned but dont care. if you got money to fix it then who cares haha sick vid check out my short slow mo one!

I dont recomend the revo for jumping. even traxxas will tell you that the revo is more of a race truck. the revo has 2 shocks front and back that is one shoch for each wheel the t-maxx has eight shocks all together. 4 in front 4 in rear. also the ground clearance on the revo is lower(yes you can change it) but it is still not for major bashing and jumping. The T-maxx was desighned for bashing. the revo will out race the t-maxx all day long but the maxx will last longer durring beatings.

the onlyt reason your guys t-maxxes keep breaking is you need to learn to drive them. Or if your gonna be rough on them spend a little extra coin and get all aluminum parts.

@iPipe0 the t-maxx is a very tough truck I have had mine for quite a while and have been running rc's for years. the t-maxx is set up out of the box for jumping, but the plastic parts will break. Integy makes very affordable aluminum parts. bulkheads cost about 35.00 per set and A arms are about 28.00 per set. i recommend replacing the bulkheads first.. Even with my experience the plastic parts wont hold up forever i have changed to aluminum and use thread lock on your screws

lol i just got a revo, the break in is done but i cant seem to figure out why its staling when i press the break, idol too low or just not rich enough.....anyone with any sigs....lol and nice man did it break when you hit that last jump.....oh and i have had mine about 20-25 ft in the air i put the mph A arms on it and there nice....they dont break just take the abuse...

ace bud i just built up a revo i got a roller of ebay toke the bits of my maxx to finish it lol.

Yer i would say the idle is to low if it stops when you brake.

na didnt bust anythin on the crash but on the flip i bust the rear bulkhead and skid plate

you can hear it when i land on the vid haha.

My maxx is fully ali now so its a tank lol

im loving the revo so far tho the handleing is soooooo much better haha

lol i just put the long travel arms on my revo and ill say the handeling is awsome....i bout the 3.3 yesterday and i put it on today to hear it and wow what a difference...lol i didnt want to breakit in yet so i took it off and went back to the 2.5 to try to figure out the problem and its not the idel i just dont know how to set everything i turned the idel up but all its doin is running harder with more tourq...it still stalls..could it be the compression....

did you run the 3.3 without runnin it in??? thats extremely bad for the engine.

dose yer 2.5 idle fine when you dont brake?

what normaly makes that happen is your idle needle it to lose so when you brake it closes the carb to much.

you might have your low speed needle to lean giving you a high idle so you have to srew yer idle out to slow the idle down.

try srewin up your idle a bit then richen your low speed needle that will slow the speed of your idle and will stop your carb shutin

No. It's pretty boring but very easy, and after she's broke in it's all fun, so the boredom at first is well worth it. About an hour of time and 5 tanks of gas and the break in is out of the way.

eh i think you need to ritchen your high speed needle as it did die a bit at high revs and you need to ritchin your low speed needle it will slow your idle and hopefully get you popin wheelies you want your truck to have a bit of smoke from the pipe it means its getting pleanty of lub and will help the life of you engine. but its not bad just needs some fine tuneing i would say watch your dvd it will help you with it

just use after run oil after every sesh its safer 2 do if your going to be runnin it again the same day its ok but any longer than a couple of hours you need to do it

yo bud thats awesome what pipe you gettin with hur? it dont do it much good lol but if you land fine its ok it dont brake ;) but mine has been in bits loads of times and is now mostly metal parts so it dont brake even when you get it wrong lol

cool cool. eh the only mod i would recomend would be to fit a rechargeable battery pack in the truck as the optidrive uses a lot off battery power another mod i found good was a forward only converson it lets you take the gear change servo out and the optidrive out and it makes it faster and pops wheels way faster but apart from that just upgrade as you brake stuff my truck is pretty stock in this vid as it was only a month old but it looks pretty diffrent now lol
