Thanks for your feedback. :) We totally agree about the strategy you mentioned. Granted, placing the loved one in a nursing home is a strategy used by many people and is the strategy most known.
The reason why we didn't mention this approach was because the angle we were going for was tips for those who do not want to place their loved ones in a nursing home or at least for those who want to try other options before that last resort. :)
i couldn't agree with you more, but another strategy that was not mentioned is placing the loved one in a home. some say it is the worst thing a daughter or a son can do to a parent, but it has many advantages. less time is spent handling or coping with problems and more positive interaction with the person. it is not just beneficial for the caregiver but the receiver as well.
