Why isn't stuff like this being covered on CNN? Have they been so separated from the idea of integrity that any political scandal ends up playing second if not bottom banana to the life and times of Paris Hilton? Has the free press been so defiled by commercialism that all actual relevant news must suffer in the name of the almighty dollar? What the Hell is wrong with this country?
josh rocks! i don't believe bob jones students will be snookered as easily as their overseer would like. where's huckabee in all this? that guy should've had this sealed up from day 1. i guess it gets harder when you say things like "the republican party needs to stop being a front for wall street"
It seems to me that if Ron Paul were to give abortion back to the states the evangelicals would have a much easier time getting their agendas pushed through. They could take it one state at a time.
"Hey, he may be a cultist, and totally opposed to our religion (which is supposed to be the essential component of our lives with all other considerations subservient to that), but at least he's pro-life!"
What a load. God is probably pretty pissed off, too. I'm not so sure I'd want to be hanging around the Throne of Heaven right about now.
Anything is possible after the long list of failures from the Bush administration with their belief in "objective moral truth", rather than "objective reality" - as Al Franken writes in his book THE TRUTH.
Best case scenario: Giuliani & Romney tear up each other in their efforts to court the evangelical vote, only for both to lose it to some unknown third party candidate. *fingers crossed*
The evangelicals have been marginalized by not fitting in today's modern era (or more accurately because they have tried to force the modern era back into a puritanical one). For the sake of humanity, it's long past time evangelicals marginalized themselves to the point of utter irrelevance.
They have arts & sciences at Bob Jones University?!! Well, you learn something new everyday. More likely they think crucifix construction (and sometimes lighting) and creationism counts as arts & sciences.
"We've got two pro-choice candidates, and that would be a disaster."
lol.
God forbid we have the decision to do what we want.

I don't understand why the evangelicals don't get behind Ron Paul. He is also anti-abortion.
nicolenigro 4 years ago
A) He wants a seperation of church and state, they want more influence of church on state.
B) He wants less federal control, they want their complete federal control.
C) He recognises the constitution as an American one based on secular universal values, they recognise it as based on Christian values.
