I doubt that any evil spirits could possibly be evoked while singing to Jesus, but even so, the Power is always His. The Drum was created to reflect the heartbeat of a mother's heart. @MsTKay The scripture you gave is correct, however this does not fit into the category of every good and perfect gift. Paganism has infiltrated what is represented as the church of Jesus Christ. I cannot find in my city of over 1 million, a "church" that has not been compromised by paganism, new age philosophy, or is outright telling the same lies Satan told in the garden.

When you see the children of God blessed with money and nice clothes, that means the church is blessed as well. We are only required to pay 10% tithing, and if we use the other 90% to buy nice cars, then is that a sin? Why do people think Christian should give away all of their money? I don;t understand this. The bible says that we are to be lenders and not borrowers, and if we are to be lenders, then we are suppose to have the money to lend.

Read the gospels... Jesus has a great deal to say about money. An honest reading would cause someone who is totally surrendered to God to live a simple life. When Christians live lives of luxury, unbelievers are turned away from the gospel. You should hear what unbelievers have to say about Benny Hinn, for example - 'He's in it for the money'.

God wants us to keep money in perspective. If we "serve" money, then we cannot also serve God. While money has its place, God wants our focus on eternal things. Proverbs 21:20 says "In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has." Choice foods and oil were in those days a sign of wealth. The whole idea of ripping off these artists by posting their music for free use, without their permission, is completely unethical, shameful, and unchristian.

Also, btw, anyone has a right to record a song they didn't write - they pay a nominal fee to whoever owns the publishing rights, and that's that. It's done all the time. The only time it's stealing (no quotations, because it is stealing) is when the song's not properly paid for. Usually no songwriter has a problem with someone recording their songs, because that's how they get paid - recordings and airplay both equal money in their pocket, which is the point of a job, right?

I don't think it is right to say that Kutless stole it. I believe that God was leading them to use it to reach out to others. What belongs to God in the first place can not be stolen from Him, but used as a blessing to others.
