I contacted Congress, NJ about the impeachment and Menendez office said that they oppose the impeachment and to get on with my mission. What kind of response is that? And the others would not comment.
That's pretty odd. I guess they're running out of things to make up when people call. If I got that "no comment" response, I would say something like "That's nice. I'm not calling for a comment. I'm calling to remind Senator (or Congressman) so-and-so to honor his (or her) sworn oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States by joining the call for impeachment hearings. We MUST have accountability."

In one of them, entitled "The Heart of Queens," dated 08/21/07, he says that Ms. Pelosi has threatened to remove Conyers from Chairmanship of the HJC were he ever to open an impeachment inquiry. I cannot vouch for the truth of this assertion, but cannot help but wonder if it may be something of a factor. The Speaker can be impeached, can she not?
She can indeed be impeached, Katy, as per the U.S Constitution, Article II, section 4:
"The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."
She can also be removed as speaker. Anyone can Google "Replace Nancy Pelosi" for details...

Conyers doesn't need her approval to start impeachment hearings and start putting evidence on the record. If memory serves me correctly, I do believe she could prevent a final impeachment vote from coming to the floor, but her refusal could be overruled with a simply majority vote...

Good question. I guess we just have to keep hammering and hope enough people eventually get it. Between my YT friends and my regualar email list, I personally notify more than 200 people of each new video I make. I do my best to do good research and make the message accurate and meaningful, and there's always a call to action. Can't force people to pay attention, though. If nothing else, I figure it's an exercise in self-preservation through good karma.

Iran will certainly retaliate by blocking logistics/supplies/oil in the Gulf of Hormuz, the consequences of which would be fatal for our broken military and would certainly push oil prices above $200 dollars/barrel overnight. $10 dollar a gallon gas anyone? The results of a Russia/China/India retaliation could be too terrible for this planet to contemplate.

Thanks Sandman. You know I understand the anger. But I think it's important to remember something I have always lived by:
The pen is mightier than the sword. Especially when truth and accuracy are the focus.
You might be physically able to pound somebody into the ground, but that's only going to bring temporary gratification.
But the gratification of exposing an opponent's ignorance lasts forever.
Or at least until they do the homework and wake up. And that's the ultimate goal.
