@emanemanresuresu As far as I can see, the fire chamber has double wall and the inside wall is cast iron and not steel as the outer wall. I believe there is no problem with cast iron and open fire.
I'm so torn between this and another cook stove. I know that I'm a couple of years out from getting one (need to buy a house first), but I'm doing all of my research now.
I just bought a Dominant 90 from this company. Arrived fast with not a scratch. Excellent product, and way less money and WEIGHT than anything out there. I love being able to see the fire. Everyone thinks its adorable LOL. Thanks to all :)

There are no stones inside the fire chamber. Isnt that to much for the metal? Ive seen many Stoves where the metal did "burn"
