430(15% loss) whp v gallardo's 370(25% loss) whp approx, and the gallardo is about 150kg heavier.., and also, im pretty sure you can get a 515hp LSv8 from gm for about $6k, an mx5 costs $4k, and a z06 gearbox $4k, all in all $16k can get you a z06 killer.. its jolly nice of GM to sell the vette engine, but as a z06 owner, i'd feel like shit knowing an MX5 has the same engine as my car, and is faster still, and costs $64k less, and is a convertible...

the reason why the Corvette is cheaper is because of the quality of the overall vehicle, corvette was using leaf springs in 2003 models, the steering wheel can also be found in a Pontiac, the rear is made out of plastic, the interior is comprise of hard plastic (not soft), it doesn't have forged wheels and there is alot more qualities that it doesn't have that the lambo does have.
I've drove both cars, my friend has a 2004 gallardo, which i was lucky enough to drive, it's a car with supreme authority and 'you' feel rich because of the quality and the attention it gets. I've also drove the vette it was a 2010 z06, with the vette you get a sense of driving something that's not the norm, but it's not what you call something different on the road. since the vettes are mass produced, that keeps it at a low price piont, but as for the lambo they are hand built.
Don't get me wrong, i like corvettes, but the lambo in this video doesn't look like a newer model you can get a 2007 Lambo gallardo for 163,899 thousand (candian dollars), or a 2002 Lambo Gallardo for 104,000 thousand (candian dollars) . A 2010 Lamborghini LP550-2 Valentino Balboni base price, is $219,800 thousand (candian dollars). so there is no way in hell the lambo in this video is 300K.

Second of all, the base Gallardo is 500 hp, yes, but the lp 570 makes 570 hp... and both of those without any turbos. None of the Lamborghini's come stock with turbos. Thirdly, the Z06 makes 505 hp, not over 600 stock. You're thinking of the ZR1.
Don't get me wrong... I love both cars, but if you're going to bash one of them, at least get the facts right.

A stock Z06 comes with 505 hp, not 550. The 2008 -2010 Viper comes with 600 hp stock.

1.) Most Lambos are hand-built.
2.) They use expensive parts.
3.) It's luxurious inside.
4.) Very limited amounts are made.
5.) It's a premium super car.

the reason why the Corvette is cheaper is because of the quality of the overall vehicle, corvette was using leaf springs in 2003 models, the steering wheel can also be found in a Pontiac, the rear is made out of plastic, the interior is comprise of hard plastic (not soft), it doesn't have forged wheels and there is alot more qualities that it doesn't have that the lambo does have.

I've drove both cars, my friend has a 2004 gallardo, which i was lucky enough to drive, it's a car with supreme authority and 'you' feel rich because of the quality and the attention it gets. I've also drove the vette it was a 2010 z06, with the vette you get a sense of driving something that's not the norm, but it's not what you call something different on the road. since the vettes are mass produced, that keeps it at a low price piont, but as for the lambo they are hand built.

Don't get me wrong, i like corvettes, but the lambo in this video doesn't look like a newer model you can get a 2007 Lambo gallardo for 163,899 thousand (candian dollars), or a 2002 Lambo Gallardo for 104,000 thousand (candian dollars) . A 2010 Lamborghini LP550-2 Valentino Balboni base price, is $219,800 thousand (candian dollars). so there is no way in hell the lambo in this video is 300K.

@IAMDAVEAMI Get your facts straight... first of all, the Gallardo is a V10; the Murcielago is the V12. Second of all, the base Gallardo is 500 hp, yes, but the lp 570 makes 570 hp... and both of those without any turbos. None of the Lamborghini's come stock with turbos. Thirdly, the Z06 makes 505 hp, not over 600 stock. You're thinking of the ZR1.
Don't get me wrong... I love both cars, but if you're going to bash one of them, at least get the facts right.

@IAMDAVEAMI I hope your'e joking bro, because you can look any of this shit up on the internet. the Murcielago V12 lp 670 is a 6.7 liter naturally aspirated engine, and the lp 640 is obviously a 6.4 liter. None of them come with turbos stock. Maybe you're mentally handicapped?
A stock Z06 comes with 505 hp, not 550. The 2008 -2010 Viper comes with 600 hp stock.
