i love how this plays when you get a wanted level in blackwater, the part from 0:00 to 0:10 plays in the background, its awsome to fight too, i just start gunning down lawmen, with a Bolt Action Rifle, and i'll Change to the Double-Action Revolver occasianly, this is a fun ass game

You really do have to commend Rockstar for their brilliance in every aspect of RDR; particularly the soundtrack. Most people ain't gonna listen to a five minute piece of epic music when they just watched a hero redeemed gunned down by a disgusting villain and his band of blind military dogs and are rushing back to the scene of despair; but they went ahead and composed all these amazing musics regardless. And for such quality game developing, I thank them.

@quick2thestylez Ouch that was harsh. The story in this game may of been simple but it was told really well. It was almost like reading a book or watching a movie but more involved since you were playing as the main character and saw what he saw. Is it wrong to be sad at the end of a story or movie when your favorite character dies? I've never played a game where I got into the story like I did in this game, but then again I don't play that many video games. Maybe you just jave no soul....

Its amazing how much effect a game can have on you, and how close you can become to pixelated people, I felt as if I had just lost a family member when John died, and the hate for the Govenment I had...Its just incredible. I imagine it will be a long time befoe any game with such an emotional, sad, powerful story will come out again.

@woa12 It's a remixed version of this song, see, they recycled different sound bits from each song, re-composing them to fit the situation you're in in-game. The guitar riff, organ, and sometimes the choir from this is Gaptooth Breach theme before you start shooting.

That 1:10 bit from the mission complete sequence is so nice to listen to, I love it when that comes up! Seriously, though, I would love to get my hands on all the music from the free-roaming side of the game. It's a shame Rockstar didn't include the ambient music in the soundtrack they released. Most notably the music when you wander the Tall Trees/Blackwater region. New Austin and Mexico's wilderness soundtrack is great, too.
