Paintball hurts more, thats a fact. But airsoft you just seems like it more varied. Like seeing these paintball videos makes me kinda want to switch over. But airsoft is more fun.(thats an opinion, not hating) for me. And paintball cost so much more. Like 2000 paintballs for 40 dollars. You get 5000 airsoft bbs for 12 bucks. You also get to shoot more. But there are more paintball fields and players which is nice... yea airsoft doesn't really hurt. only on the knuckles. and other bony parts
@jayheuk have you ever played real airsoft? 5000 bbs for 12 bucks sounds like .2 matrix bags. Try CQB at 550 fps with .3 bbs and you will see how much it can hurt :D you will also be covered in blood and have holes in your clothes. A lot of fields cap the limit at 350 fps and its weak... you cant break the skin with that, you barely feel it through clothing and yes paintball will leave bruise through clothing but they dont have the potential to go as fast as solid bbs can

Id say its a custom job. In the tags it says Proto Rail, which would be the gun its based off of. Its not all that uncommon for this to be done, but if you have some serious cash to bust, and want a SAW paintball gun, Rap4 does make one, but at 2500 bucks its not a cheap investment and you wouldnt get anything like that if you were to sell it.

Also paintball is cheaper to play and only PUSSYS PLAY PAINTBALL because paintballs shoot around 325 fps while AIRSOFT GUNS shoot over 400 and sine they have a higher fps and a smaller surfae area they more. @Rbnrobie You've obviously never used a Systema PTW. My brother and I have them and they are beasts(and milspec 100%). The beep sound you hear in cheapsoft is the whining of an improperly mounted motor. Reshim your gearbox properly and that sound disappears. I do both paintball and Milsim and I enjoy both equally, I do however love the realism of my PTW. It cost a ton but well worth it.

@Rockin0Pain62151431 Ummm, a soild airsoft BB hurts just as much when it's being fired at 400 FPS vs. a paintball at 280FPS. If you shot anything other than Walmart airsoft guns, you'd know that. Then again, the adrenaline I get from airsoft covers it quickly. It doesnt do that any more for me with paintball. PB is boring and out with the old days.
@glennkon I actually left paintball for airsoft. One of the main reasons being that airsoft has players with a much higher maturity level during thier games. There's much less trash talking and cheating going on. You use tactics and fieldcraft instead of dumping 1000's of rounds downrange as in speedball. Since I've been playing both combined for over 17 years now, I'm not just a backyard player for either in any way. Thank God for the choice. Got me away from all the punks.
@xx117711xx well most airsoft guns look more realistic simply because it's easier to have the mech box smaller. it takes a bunch of energy to move a paintball. like 4500psi tanks with a 800psi pressure out standard? thats a whole bunch of force. Airsoft guns also have smaller barrels and more design room becuase they don't have a hopper on top like paintball guns.
@xx117711xx yes, but they arent very effective. Rap4 has them for their guns. But they only hold 20-40 paintballs, where as a q-pod holds only 100, and a standard hopper holds 200. People have made mods to fake box mags, like putting in a rotor from halo hoppers at the bottom and having a qpod tube running to the chamber. All in all, it's much easier to have airsoft magazines which are lighter and hold more, but paintball is still hella fun!

Hey genius. I've played woods balls for almost 20 years, and competitive speedball for 3. You get bunkered in woodsball too you know. And as a matter of fact. One of the funniest things I've found is that when you speedballers walk onto woodsball field, the majority of you guys suck. 9 times outta 10 the speedballers are the easiest to shoot out in the woods. To each their own, but shut your trap about rec ballers being pussies. I eat your kind on a weekly basis.

There's a hell of a lot more work to do with airsoft than paintball, hands down. The amount of "drop in" accessories for paintball alone dictates that.

Great gun, but paintball sucks. I'd know, I played for 13 yrs. Paintballs are more than twice as expensive to buy, not all of them wash out either. Paintball is much more commercialized than airsoft and tends to draw more of the punk kid type players into it. Plus, I hate shooting guns that don't even feel near close to the real thing and aren't half as reliable as a well taken care of airsoft gun. The list could go on... Airsoft just kicks the ass out of paintball anyday.
I wouldnt know, I have never shot a real gun..... @xx117711xx well most airsoft guns look more realistic simply because it's easier to have the mech box smaller. it takes a bunch of energy to move a paintball. like 4500psi tanks with a 800psi pressure out standard? thats a whole bunch of force. Airsoft guns also have smaller barrels and more design room becuase they don't have a hopper on top like paintball guns.

@xx117711xx yes, but they arent very effective. Rap4 has them for their guns. But they only hold 20-40 paintballs, where as a q-pod holds only 100, and a standard hopper holds 200. People have made mods to fake box mags, like putting in a rotor from halo hoppers at the bottom and having a qpod tube running to the chamber. All in all, it's much easier to have airsoft magazines which are lighter and hold more, but paintball is still hella fun!

Hey genius. I've played woods balls for almost 20 years, and competitive speedball for 3. You get bunkered in woodsball too you know. And as a matter of fact. One of the funniest things I've found is that when you speedballers walk onto woodsball field, the majority of you guys suck. 9 times outta 10 the speedballers are the easiest to shoot out in the woods. To each their own, but shut your trap about rec ballers being pussies. I eat your kind on a weekly basis.

@jgmtiger Major overkill. Shoot him with using only one or two EVERY time a cocky son of a bitch gets out on the field. One guy against six doesn't knock that cockiness out of him, because ANYBODY would lose to those odds. But hunting him down and knocking him off every time alone would humble him a bit. Quality playing, not quantity.

btw pb is better... the effort people put into building their milsim guns makes it a lot more rewarding than just buying an airsoft gun. People say airsoft is more real... paintball feels more intense. And btw my pb gun doesnt sound like a toy while its getting fired. Great SAW!!

Paintball is not arcade style... I have never seen anybody go all CS/COD in a game. Its more intense. Yea look how tactical my laser pointed alrtra sonic flash light is... WHO USES THT IN A GAME?

@kamakazi423 Ummmm, the effort I go into customising my own airsoft guns trumps the hell out of ANY custom work I ever did to my paintball guns in a 17 year history of playing both. There's a hell of a lot more work to do with airsoft than paintball, hands down. The amount of "drop in" accessories for paintball alone dictates that.

Great gun, but paintball sucks. I'd know, I played for 13 yrs. Paintballs are more than twice as expensive to buy, not all of them wash out either. Paintball is much more commercialized than airsoft and tends to draw more of the punk kid type players into it. Plus, I hate shooting guns that don't even feel near close to the real thing and aren't half as reliable as a well taken care of airsoft gun. The list could go on... Airsoft just kicks the ass out of paintball anyday.

I wouldnt know, I have never shot a real gun..... Ive never seen an airsoft game played once in my life so I have no idea, nobody around here plays......I dont think I would want to anway, from what i hear its only crazies and milsim nuts who couldnt get into the military for some reason that play airsoft
