  • wow who made this universe? its brilliant. wow

  • <3

  • its craxy how the milky way is so huge that gaseous nebulas look to remain in the same general shape. Shows really how short our lives are to not be able to witness significant form changing.

  • @MonkeySpecs301 - Totally! I've been watching a new series on the science channel hosted by morgan freeman entitled "Through The Wormhole" - if you can, check it out. You know all living things on earth consist entirely of the same elements as the cosmos. Including us. I think when we understand that each and every one of us is SIGNIFICANT and directly dirivitive of the cosmos - the human race will be more useful and begin the inevitable journey back to a connected life with our universe.

  • Scary

  • ive had it with these video slideshows... If I want to view images I'll just visit APOD

  • Nice drum machine soundtrack. The percussion is a bit off in the improvised parts

  • are these pics real or computer made?please reply

  • @TheCardGuy521 They are real except for the one of the Milky Way, the asteroids orbiting two suns and possibly some of the planets. But keep in mind that many of the pictures (particularly the nebulae) are in either false-color or taken in UV-light, infrared, radio waves.. etc. They wouldn't look like that to the naked eye.

  • are these real pictures?

  • The Eagle Nebula...so very nice...Space is one nice mystery...

  • I especialy like the views of Mercury and Venus. Its amazing how much we have learned about these two in the last 15 years. Neptune is beautiful. It seems like a huge vast ocean. Imagine if it were, how scary it would be to be there all alone in a boat.

  • Great video! Thanks for posting!

  • APOD is a good site for astronomical pictures.

  • APOD = Astronomical Picture of The Day from NASA really is a wonderful resource. Thank you for the reminder aartvegan.

  • @GloVermont2 If I am correct, A nebula is a collection of gases and other chemicals in one big cloud of pure matter, right?

  • cool.......

  • The eagle nebula is my favourite

  • My favorite is the whirlpool galaxy.

  • spiral is my faveorite

  • LMAO @ "Sombrero Galaxy" - let's see the Slant-Eye Nebula!

  • as fotos são de uma qualidade incrivel!!!agora se o homem continuar desreipeitando a terra nao vale nem apena conhecer o universo vamos acabar querendo destruir ele também!e olha que sou fascinado por esses papos!!

  • Glo this vid is not working/

  • TY classicallady for alerting me. The video is working OK now. I do have it loading in hi resolution by default. It may download a bit slow.

Also ty for reciprocating with your sub. Reciprocate is my favorite word in life. Google that word (reciprocate) sometime - you'll find my family homepage ranked in the top ten.

  • cool

  • One of my favorite all time movies is Flash Gordon.

  • @GloVermont2 ?!?

  • Yes children. The picture of our galaxy is imaginary painting. Nope, no one flew outside of our galaxy to take a photo. That's impossible and will never' happen.

  • Just like any other galaxies out there; spiral arms floating in space.

  • One can digure out how it looks by our surroundings and the abundance of of particles. etc.

  • Never say never!

  • @ImOfNope Nothing is Impossible. Just varying levels of Difficulty.

Don't be swallowed up by defeatism.

Who are you to say that something is never going to happen? Hey folks we have the most intellectually advanced Quantum Mechanic here on Youtube...Lets all bow to his greatness!

    Sorry Mr Negative...Nothing is Impossible.

  • @ImOfNope BOOOOOO!!!! "Impossible" "will never happen"...??? Finding a hot woman who loves to cook, clean, take care of the kids, party like a rock star, love to check out other women with me, irons my clothes, gives up the good lovin' on deman... this my friend is impossible... travling out of our galaxy... NOT IMPOSSIBLE!! Give us 10 MAYBE 20 years and we will be playing basketball out there!

  • @ImOfNope shut up!

  • Thanks ! Cool !

    note :

    - Most pictures photos by high quality telescopes, like as Hubble's etc.

Beginner can not photo like those by them telescopes.

    - The Milkyway Galaxy image is imagination painting, by extrapolation.

    Be not Real Photo picture.

We live in it, so we can not see over it. Astronomer estimation its' shade from sister galaxy, Andromeda.

  • interplantery space! Thanks

  • Very cool...

  • Thanks for taking me on a cool journey through the Cosmos!
