i have a serious question why do you always have something around the strings at the end? is it to keep it in tune?

@putz777 no its actually used to show the guitarist where to stop to put it in better terms if you like are only using the bottom half of the guitar you would put that ring down to about the middle it also shows the people where your fingers arent gonna go incase your trying to learn the song i have one too but mines a clip and not a ring and it doesnt hold down any of the strings.
