Jesus is there because Christianism was the last step in the evolution of religions (if you don't know what I mean, go read something of sociology of religion)
@NickBolland The whole Iconoclast album is very religious and supports the good side. But let me tell you something, I don't care if you are hinduist, muslim or buddhist but catholic christianity is the web for people, even protestants have more sense in religion. All the delirium that is caused by people is that they think only catholic christianity exists. Catholic one is full of lies and caused the crusades. Orthodox is the real and most innocent christianity and reflects christ's beliefs.
This was the first symphony x song i ever heard, and its still one of my favorites. For me this was a new chapter musically and i'm glad my friend introduced me to this great band. Such genuine, timeless and trend-free music is hard to come by these days.
It's not only Americans that are Christian and try to translate their religious belief into everything. Most Mexicans and Spaniards are either Catholic or Christian also and would make the same mistake as a result of their being brainwashed by religion.
im not racist, i was just saying that most americans (over 85%) are christians, in result of their corrupted education system, nothing you'd understand. in fact, it's not their fault so i dont dislike americans, i just pity them
This song it's not about where we belong, but a racist like you wouldnt know that, it's not about bible, no, but I think i put clear that was ONE MINE interpertation that i was inspired on doing it, with no further subject good afternoon
It's obvious that you inlightedeness, was no able to understand the concept the way I recaptured the movie just thinjk about, in case you are gifted with intelegencie, witch by your remark i doubt it, why did i post creacionist images with evolutionist ones ? maybe because i was confronting the two position and what tyhe problem that i posted Jesus do you have anithing against him ?
In the case of these song, and album we can, read the lyrics of the songs they do a very interested interpertation about the Atlantis Myth, putting cross cultural elements like egiptans, with a mix o modern sciece fiction about Atlantis wich makes this Album,if not the one of he most intense i've heard in a while
@e1890edf And this album makes a reflection of the world today. The last song in the last line he says "can we change?", he's saying that we keep detroying our world even when someone shows us the consecuences in front of our faces. Can we change? I think not.
My point it's simple confront two distinguish opinions, that in my opinion are the base of a courious cientifical dialogue criationism, our evolution. And i didnt do it to impose, guide anyone's opinion, but by confronting the ideia, promote discussion on that theme
Hy, I wantto thank you for your comment on the Symphony X Video, in spite of what many persons put in my profile the Album theme of Symphoy X where it cames these song it's of strong mythology inspiration, i brings the myth of Atlantis with cross cultural themes, and a strong science fiction base. In wich, in my opinion they part upon a reflectin about our times. Thanks for your comment all the Best :)))
@DionysosEleutherios I think the album does deal with various folklore/mythology and religious aspect, but it seems to look at each of them in a more or less equal manner, despite the modern size of the belief systems.

Why exactly was there an image of Jesus? I don't think Symphony X is very religious.

You're wrong. Not only it's a religious/spiritual song, but the whole album is like that.
