well for one those werent tornados those were whirl pool magnets and isobaric configuration is not just cone to cone you can run speaker to magnet which is the best know as push pull! or magnet to magnet isobaric which is to run two identical driver motor in uniform to save space and lower distortion level by all means this does not produce a higher db level it just produces better clarity!

The 12's would probably perform better mounted normally. Off the top of my head Kenwoods generally aren't designed for reverse mounting.

lol i have the same db meter, wal-mart special, but its good to compare with your buddies system, don't knock the 15 subs yet, its all i will ever use, 125.7 in 01 Kia Sportage 15'' BOSS 2200 watt peak running off of a 4 CH 1000w Lanzar Vibe amp, mind you its only 1 sub so only using half the wattage being as i can only bridge 2 channels.

@CrismarkRock I'd say get around 1500 watt amp depending on how good the amp is. I've heard 1000 watt amps that put out like 200 watts and i've heard 1000 watt amps that will blow 1000 watt subs. Just remember usually with car audio you get what you pay for.

@306Finest306 Your right I think i'm done inverting my subs. I had them in one box (facing normal) but these subs beat the box apart literelly the box started comming apart and sounded like shit. I am out of dual 12 boxes so I had to use 2 singes. As for the 15 its not shitty I just need a powerful amp to put on it to show what it can do
