@illinidude33 You don't have to put other things down, but since your for it, i'm gonna put your thing down a bit. You're in middle doing this play? I bet you don't even get half of the references in this play cause you are too young to be doing it in the first place. I doubt its better than this. This is pretty amazing and its choreographed well. The main thing with it is that it looks good and isn't too much. Your's is probably bad cause ya'll are still clumsy in your just hit puberty stage.

did you record this first and then mouth it, or sing it live (i no in some theater plays they record first)

no, this is sung live. just curious, what plays have you seen lip synch? ive never heard of that ever

i havent seen any, but i know that they do that with professional plays, they record them selfs singing, and then just lip sync there voice on the performance so that the audiance can hear it

not professional broadway plays... the have microphones put on their customes. usually on a headpiece or something close to the face. in a lot of tv spots from different performances you notice them when they zoom in, but if you sit and watch it live you should be far away enough to not see them.... c'mon what would be the point of a live theatre show if they didn't sing live. i've seen a few and they were all live.. that's also why you can find clips on here, with bloopers and mistakes

my teacher moved the song until the end and replaced "all choked up" with "you're the one that i want" and replaced "alone at the drive-in movie" with "hopelessly devoted to you", but still, i LOVE the play! yours was awesome!

Well we did 3 "We Go Together"'s throughout the entire show. We opened the show with it (and did a roll call, introducing all of the characters), ended Act 1 with it, as you said, and then we ended the show with it after "All Choked Up". Besides the opening the other two are written in that way. But you're right, for the Act 1 version, Sandy is NOT in it. This is AFTER "All Choked Up" though.
