you must has gotten lucky. i was heading to maine, i think, and that storm moved east just enough so that all the flights got canceled. to top it off the storm hit maine right when i was heading back to chicago, so those flights got canceled as well. glad you made it out ok, though. i think that was an a320 in my video.
I was flying an a320 on the same night and that flight was canceled then at about midnight i was able to taxi then hold then we spent another hour and a half before we were given the all clear
the whole airport shutdown, actually... all flights were grounded and a ton were canceled. I don't think anything got back off the ground for a few hours.
O'Hare called a ground stop about 10 minutes after I recorded this... my flight to Fairfield, ME was canceled about 20 minutes later. It was a nightmare... this has to be one of the worst travel seasons at O'Hare in recent memory.
