nice cutting and the starting deal is pretty kool i want to ask u something though im planning on purchasing astihl fs110 or fs130 is there any difference at all between the fs100 and the fs110 besides the prce lol
I have never checked the difference between the FS100 and the 110 till now.Now that you have asked, I have found one big difference, probably the one which is the reason for the price difference. The FS100 has a non metallic polymer Fan Housing (aka clutch housing). The FS110 has the same Mag/Al alloy Fan housing which comes on the FS130. This would make the FS110 more of a Pro model suitable for longer running periods. I think, in other aspects the FS100 and FS110 are identical.
@joe54chn hmm well thanks that helps alot i was just wondering im trying to get one of these but christmas and the fs110 seems to be around 379$ and the fs130 420$ so if i can get almost the same thing for cheaper im gonna try to
do u think the fs100 would be good for weekend use i cut about 6yards on saturdays/sundays
2.00 OhOH some problames! Try FS 350! We had a competition with my grandfather, about who's brushcutter starts after less pulls. His brand new top model al-ko started after the 15th, my 8 yoear old fs 350 started after the second! And it's still as powerfull as it was for the first time! It's IMMORTAL!
I like the tech info you shared, i always admire the innovation that gets a machine going again.
The machine otherwise doesnt seem overly powerful and my ol Mculloch ProMac 270 wouldnt be far behind

my fs 250 would kill that machine
hksjoshua 1 year ago
Sure, why not? this machine has an engine of only 31.4cc while as your FS250 has one of 40.2cc.
So, go ahead and kill it.

that the point

You're sure that you really want to kill this 6 year old under sized punt.
Not something newer and bigger?
Maybe like a FS120 or a FS200 or... even a FS400?
Or this one's big bro the FS130?
