Papelbon just blew another save opportunity tonight. He threw 16 straight fastballs to give it up. What a meat head. Every time he blows a save he throws only the 96 mph fastball. You'd think he would learn to change it up. And seriously who can stand that ridiculous face he makes on the mound.
This chant is to mask pain and embarrassment of years and years. The yankees have stuck it to the sox to many times to count. The chant makes these people feel better about themselves, it's all they have really. B4 2004 all sox fans did was cry. Funny how they almost immediately forgot about 80+ years of losing. Crying about curses right til 04', then they would say, "who seriously believes in curses". People you just have to laugh at people that say, "this cheer is necessary."
