  • i love it when people try to make simple workout complicated just to convince everyone else (and themselves) that what they're doing is more effective..

  • Hey lee. My left tricep is bigger then my right tricep and its pretty noticeable. When i workout my triceps i notice, especially with lying barbell extensions, that my left tricep does most of the work. So how should i isolate my right tricep to get it bigger and even it with my left so my left isnt always doing the work? :-)

  • @PapaD93

I've got a video that talks about this situation. Just do a search for "Do You Have One Arm Bigger Then The Other".

  • This seems like a lot of trouble to do something that u could do with dumbells.

  • @ediot6969

It's not really much trouble, the machine is already set up. All you have to do is put the pin in the weight stack and grab the handles. It's pretty simple.

  • Lee. in one of your videos you said that you go to the gym after work. Does that mean that you have an office work like most of us do?

  • @acereroycementero

Yes, I work a lot. Besides my online business I also own and manage rental apartments as well.

  • this is the stupidest fucking exercise I've ever seen in my god damn life. FUCKIN DANGEROUS BRO!

  • @RiseoftheHexBlade

How is this "F#@king Dangerous Bro?"

Have you ever done a bench press before? That's a heck of a lot more dangerous then this exercise, you can literally get pinned down to the bench. Where as this is a machine exercise and handles don't even come all the way down. The worse case scenario is you slide out to the side if you fail to lift the weight.

  • Nice....I've also seen someone do tricep pressdowns on a seated leg curl machine...

  • Drop the bar and fracture your spine!

  • @carllecat1

You are not going to get crushed doing this exercise. If you fail to lift the weight you could simply slide out from the side or just get a spotter to help you. Have you ever done a barbell bench press before? That's a heck of a lot more dangerous than this exercise, yet people do it all the time.

  • ... and if you go heavy you will risk crushing your upper back

  • TOTALY A W E SO ME

  • Hi Lee,

very interesting! Like "UniversalHere" said, there is a machine for that, but that machine (literally) moves to all places if you want to do some serious triceps workout (unless they bolt it into the floor) on it. However, like "QVWrestlingTigers" said, my gym wouldn't allow it, either, I guess. Since, they certainly want to prevent foolish people (other than me, of course) to try that, too. But I'm definitely gonna try your alternative on the bench and the rope. So thanx, man!

  • You can this same movement with dumbells on a flat bench too...it is way tougher due to having to stabilize the weights. ITs killer

  • great form!!!

  • they a machine for that....and the way your doing it could be dangerous in a case where you cant complete the rep and it falls on you

  • @UniversalHere

I guess any exercise could be potentially dangerous if you try to lift more then you can handle. But if you are not certain of your ability to lift the weight, make sure you have a spotter with you.

  • i gym wouldnt allow that shit

  • brent looks a lil bigger than last time he was in a vid. good stuff

  • curls for the girls, tris for the guys and rows for the hoes

  • I've never seen this before!! Good share, Lee!! Thanks :D

  • People are going to look at me like gtfo lol

  • More videos lee please

  • pretty cool move, may try and work it in my routine

  • 0:40 epic calves lee¡¡¡¡

  • i use the cable tricep extensions after watching your video of it. this is another cool variation. say, i'm just curious to know, what app do you use to edit your videos? i like how you can incorporate video insets and banners.

  • @Wenzan3pm

I'm using final cut x for my videos.

  • @leemhayward final cut x? interesting. one other thing... is it an online application or not? if "no" then can you tell me where to download the app for free? thanks man. lolz. you rock! lean and techy.

  • @Wenzan3pm

You can download it in the app store, but it's $300 bucks + tax.

  • More cooking videos/nutrition videos...sugestion good fats vs bad fats and example of the bad fats... thanks

  • Nice, never thought of doing it this way. Will try it next time.

  • man Lee is huuuuuuuuuuuuuge

  • LEE WE NEED MORE WEEKLY VIDS LIKE YOU USED TO WE MISS THEM

  • Wow! Awesome excercise!!!!!!

  • SICK bicep, LEE!

  • You guys need to start screaming in the last rep :D

  • Hey Leem,

great video but got a question totally off-topic: I've been lifting since August without a week rest. I'm considering taking 2 weeks off now, not because of a specific injury or something just to get my body some rest. Do you ever take weeks off?

  • @ListonFrazier you should take one week off every 3 months :-)

  • @ListonFrazier

If you feel you need some time off then take 1 week rest. That's plenty to re-new your energy and motivation.

  • Thanks man, I'm always looking for new ways to expand my routine and change things up and this really helps out. All your stuff is really good.

  • If you lose you grip on the bar for reason it will be a "killer move" OUCH! :)

  • @DMrKanyon Yep, on that final rep, your spine would snap, and the guy from Mortal Kombat would shout "FATALITY". I think I'll stick to the dip machine.

  • Thank you for all the great tips , Lee !

  • you look massive lol

  • same ol lee: jacked and swoll as always

  • Thank you Lee for sharing your tips. :)

  • Wassap lee

  • oh shit, i would do this but the gym i go to have those machines too close to the wall to do that haha

  • @pkidro

We had to slide this one away from the wall in order to shoot the video.

  • @leemhayward haha good stuff, they would kick me out if i do that :D

  • by the looks of Brent you need to bring him the gym more often :P

  • @oasismanutd

Brent has made some impressive progress. Just go to my main channel page and you can see his before and after pics.

  • @leemhayward lee how come u have a complete chest back and shoulders workout but no legs r arms? i know u have other leg vids but u have no bicep/tricep workouts? they r very helpful and gave me a good idea of what to do back when i was a beginner

  • @leemhayward - @oasismanutd is obviously one of those criticizing "backseat trainers", who, in all honesty, could probably use a lot more gym time himself - keep it up Brent, and follow Lee's tutelage, and you are going to be a "champion" - @oasismanutd will no doubt always be "just a critic" , and nothing more.

  • @oasismanutd not everyone who go to a gym is a BB some are athletes

  • great tips, thanks man

  • nice nice... gonna try it tomorrow, ty lee good vid

  • Hey Lee can you tell me what kind of protein we should eat cause I'm 15 and the only protein I've been eating is grilled chesse and eggs so can you do that for a fan

  • @DaTreZXO

EAT MEAT!!!! eat it for pretty much every meal. keep eating the eggs and cheese though. have eggs for breakfast then try and include meat for every other meal of the day.

  • @DaTreZXO

Just go to my main channel page and download a copy of my "Bodybuilding Quick Start Kit" this covers nutrition for building muscle.

  • Nah!

  • You have a large rib cage, along with a huge chest.

  • another great video, I would of never thought of that man I cant wait to see how many wtf is he doing stares and try to correct me lol. keep up this good work lee.

  • clever

  • you need more subs Leem

  • could you do like a pushdown? what mean by that is, if you sit on the seat and hold the bar like a hammer and extend?

  • @memo431

Watch the video again, I actually link to another one of my videos that shows a variation of this exercise using a cable and a flat exercise bench.

  • daym dude u buffed up

  • Neat, I love finding our variations from exercises be it machines or what-have you. If i'm watching an instructional video and I see a set up they did, or a movement I wasn't familiar with I try and in-cooperate it into my next workout. Actually, I did Facepulls awhile back when I saw your video of it.

Thanks for the tips, Lee & Friend.

  • very nice!
