I have seen him every time he has come to Maine , This guy rates right up there with all the greats, If you like the blues . This is one band you dont want to miss.
He is AWSOME and a very personable guy very friendly.
Ronnie came to Windsor Ontario this past weekend for our bluesfest, I have got to say that all the years that we have had a bluesfest he was the best blues singer we have ever had here in Windsor, He sure can sing and also crack up a crowd. Keep up the great blues music Ronnie I am sure Windsor will never forget the great time we all had while you were here, I hope to see you back in Windsor again it was the best time ever for me at our bluesfest. Thanks for the autographs great DVD I bought.
i first saw him with his dad in milwaukee, wi in about '83 ? -- chicago bluesmen didn't head north too often, so when lonnie came to town to play at 'virginia's' - it was always packed !!
That's All Right. Saw you with Lonnie in Grand Rapids 20 years ago at the Silver Cloud, standing room only. A super night. Just discovered your music. Love your playing man. See you in GR Sat. Apr 10. I can't wait.
The first time and heard his father's music i went crazy with joy, then i heard Ronnie baker brooks and dammm!,he has soo much soul and is true to the craft.
I used to see Ronnie at a place called Bugsys Bar and Grill in Highland, In. He used to play there every Thursday when he was a still a local artist. I used to have a couple of drinks with him after his shows and remember thinking ,wow, This guy is goning to huge!
This my first time going to see Ronnie baker, I'll be at Fitzgerald's on Jan 2,2009 I'm sure I'll enjoy myself its girls night everybody been before accept me let you know how it went!
I followed Ronnie's career for about 4 years now and played blues on guitar for about 5 years and I can tell you, this guy's good ... but becoming way better year after year !! I am a good fan of Robben Ford and the way he plays the guitar. I used to say that robben was probably actually the best blues guitarist with of course Joe Bonamassa who is simply amazing. But now, I really think Ronnie is a part of those blue guitarists who take the blues and the guitar to another level.
The first time I saw any blues performed anywhere, it was Lonnie Brooks in 1979 in Minnesota, and it felt like a wild energy lifting me off the floor by my collar. I felt like. He's consistently been one of my favorite blues artists. But in 1993, I saw Lonnie's son perform, and some of the things he was doing with the guitar defied belief.
Flambeauriver - I saw Lonnie/Ronnie perform in MPLS...can't think of the name of the venue but likely would recall if you named it.
(It was not at Wilebski's Blues Saloon in St. Paul.)
BTW, I've paddled the S. Fork Flambeau countless times...lovely river by midwest standards. I now paddle here in northern New England...hundreds of great white-water rivers.

seen this guy a bunch of times, actually hung with his band, absolutely amazing. 1 question, why is music like this not popular? Cause I am absolutely blown away every time i see them
really great stuff and good job doing the screen in screen stuff and so forth-I'm teaching myself editing on the Vegas software and just learning titling, etc and next move is doing some inscreen stuff. Love all the Brook's!

I'm with woogiee. RBB is an incredible musician producing blues that blows me away. Why he isn't a house-hold name just astounds me.

Didn't happen to see him at the place called The Blues in the twin cities was it? I was there and seen his dad and him play in the early nineties.
