If you start a business producing a product and you are forced to pay employees so much your product is not priced at a level where it can compete, what would you do? You would look for a way to make your product cheaper. That means you look to Mexico, China, India, or anywhere you can get your product made so it can compete in the market. How hard is it to understand you can't force a wage? Any place gov or unions step in productivity goes down. Give me an example to the contrary.

I would love to see $70.00 per hour jobs all across the country, but that would require industry to be able to be successful competing against the competition and making a strong profit to succeed in maintaining that kind of wage for its employees.
