I hate banks. When I get my money direct deposited, I immediately go and draw most of it out, sometimes I leave just enough in there to keep the account open.
you don't need those people look at it as a positive, now is the time people with character are going to be doing very well for themselves- so im sure you will do well!
...and I forgot, why don't YOU take the time, and YOU "have a heart" and YOU YOU "take the time to do that," and YOU "find a blessing," and YOU "try to touch as many people as you can?" Again, it's easy to act like Diamond Jim Brady when it's someone else's cash, isn't it? Put your money where your mouth is, and DO IT! PS: You gotta tell me where you got that shirt. ;-P)
If you have morals and a heart, why don't YOU open your wallet, Roosevelt, and YOU send these people money? Big spender with other people's money! Gotta love a Negro with a "Save a Tree" T-shirt, though.

"What profiteth a man if he gain another 10% interest and loseth his soul?"
Whether or not you believe in Jesus or the Bible you can't deny that Jesus was right on the money (pun intended) when he said "Go to gell you moneygrubbing credit card companies" (paraphrasing). "And while your in hell, burn there for a while and I hope your ass get's tender from the repeated pokings with a pitchfork."
corporations are this way because we make them this way, if you had stock in bank of america I'm sure you care more about the stock price than helping out some people. Banks don't make money off people with good credit anyway so they want you to fail so they can slam you.
You get one shot at life on this planet. Who would choose to align themselves with a corporate global force for evil? Not so much a choice as a lack of options.
And you can get all self righteous... talking about how these people knew what they were getting themselves into. And your right... but hell, atleast the evil big tobacco companies tell ya they're selling you cancer. But creditors make their REAL money off the misfortune of others. Thats the truth. struggling customer = prophit. And thats unconcienable to me.
but good for BOA. make that money now. cuz in the long term, justified or not this bad PR is gonna whord off new customers.
I'm all about personal responsibility. Still, businesses provide services. For a bank, that is to loan money, and get paid interest back. That is the SERVICE. By jacking up the interest rate to 30%; tacking on fee after fee, their focus changes from providing a service to actively trying to keep people in debt as long as possible, to bleed them dry. And the fact that the banks are repaying govt loans is irrelavent. govt saved their asses, and they gave the finger to customers. hypocritical dogs
@ashestofeonix If you read Modern Money Mechanics, you will know the banks are guilty of fraud. They create money off of the borrowers signature, monetize it, give it back in a check and charge interest for it. Then they sell the note for more than it's face value to get more money. And they use your tax exemption to get out of paying taxes on the money you give them with your note. They make 150K or more off a 50K loan the day it's made. And it's your signature that gave it value.
Getting people into programs is not "forgiving" loans. It is only modifying the terms of the loans, such as reducing interest rates from usurious levels, and extending repayment periods. The people in the programs she was helping them get into still have to repay the money IN FULL.
What she couldn't stomach is that BofA did not WANT loans paid off. They don't make as much profit on being repaid. They make billions racking up fees, penalties and "convenience" charges on people in debt.
It's true. And it's not just BOA. It's amazing how heartless they are. Some people did nothing to receive the debt. They are in debt because their government FAILED them. I know there is health care reform now. But I'm sure everyone who already had hospital bills are being harrassed every day. It's amazing how emergency services cost so much. That is the point when many Americans get screwed for life. They actually guilt sick people into paying their rich fat asses.
before u loan $(or anything), there is a previous agreement on how long that person has to repay u, if the deadline has not been reached, then ur stealing if u retrieve the money from that person without there consent
thats not true on credit cards though. a credit card is an unsecured loan with no final payment agreement. do some research buddy. i work for bank of america, i can assure you we only take money that people have used .. you dont wanna pay back 7k to us -- then dont use our line of credit to pay for 7k worth of things; its easy.
Oh please, stealing my ass. Banks lend out 10x the money they have on hand, how is that not fraud? This is a fact. For every $1 in cash a bank has they can create $10 in loans from it. Yet people want to defend these greedy motherfuckers and act like 30% interest rates are "reasonable" when they purposely give out bad loans and make most of their profits from the late fees and interest, then the rest they just charge off which gets rid of tax burden. But it's the consumers who are stealing?
@NoxDeadly - nobody signs up for a 30% interest rate, moron. Banks do shady shit like not process your payment on time as an excuse to jack up interest rates that high.
She may want to be careful of the ex supervisor as a reference also. Sometimes they can cost u a job if they really never liked u. Some people are spiteful like that!
You asked if anyone would honestly think that the government would ever loan out money w no intention of being repaid. (I almost typed "raped" there...) Well Bush Bailed out AIG, a company who abused taxpayer dollars by having outstanding parties, expensive trips, and other materialistic items. I wouldn't have bailed them out AT ALL because I know that all they're going to do is abuse the taxpayers again and again.

umm are you serious for one she wasnt stealing bank of america was stealing from the people and she was helping them so this would not happen and for another yeah i agree no one has the right to steal well then why did bank of america steal my money and then refuse to give it back call me a liar and the give it back and apoligize because they were wrong umm your an ignorant person maybe you didnt watch the video this guy was responding to maybe you should
Whatever BOA did to you is no excuse for this girl to steal from BOA. And yes, knowingly violating a company policy by forgiving money owed BOA is exactly stealing.
im not going to argue with you i think she was in the right i dont think she was stealing i think boa is wrong and they do steal from people and do some shady ass things to fine people in ways so they have to pay more the world right now sucks its hard times the banks dont need to fine people for shit that isnt needed that was her point
Putting people on a path to getting into a good financial situation to where they -can- make their payments helps both the company and the consumer. It helps the company because the company does not have to write off the debt later down the road and sell it to a third party agency for a fraction of what they are owed.

You are the one that sounds "ignorant" to me. If you think that BOA is is justified in charging 30% (which used to be illegal)and ridiculous fees then you are "irresponsible". @DarrellOdum Yes BoA WOULD make more money in the long run... but they want money NOW, so they aren't going to help people make their payments cause that means less money now, even if it means more money over time. They are greedy assholes and the people need to rise up as one, and slay them.
