thnx a trillion this helped a lot it was a really good starting tutorial! Planning on making an iPhone game and I'm using a Linux computer (my friend has a mac which is why its possible) and I needed some software that was easy to use and applicable.
there is not need to learn a programe language and wright scripts to learn to design a 2d game?

This is really cool. I am trying to make a robot shooter game. I have 2 questions though...
1) If I want the bullet to come out from a specific part of the character (the gun arm), how do I do that?
2) I put the xvariables in the script editor but when I try to add anything else, it won't let me so what am I doing wrong?
