Seriously... If you look at the ingredients on food... normally the first few are strange types of chemicals.
A science class at the school I went to started an experiment when I was in 8th grade: They set a hostess cupcake on the top shelf in the room... then 4 years passed and the new students ate it with milk to show that it didn't go "bad".... GROSS!

Some of this shit doesn't god bad for 10 to 20 years. That is just not natural and I would avoid it.
