We were there. And it was great! First time we had seen them live was at the Winnipeg Folk Fest, maybe 5 or 6 years ago. When they opened their act under that cloudless prairie night sky with "Coal, Not Dole", I think it was, that heavy, soulful beat put a chill up my spine!
A much more intimate setting at the West End, and as you say, when they came down off the stage and did this song, it was truly magical.
This was the first song I sang for my former girlfriend- it´great. Regards from a danish fan!!

Great song Great Band. They played Winnipeg last night finishing with 300 people singing put out the lights. Magic.
