  • Too bad it's not in 1080p

    Or 720p for that matter

  • Your getting a steady 60 FPS because of V-Sync, disable it and it will de-limit your FPS, or at least increase your refresh rate, 60 is hard on the eyes after hours with that constant flicker, I use 75 at the least, with 85 being minimum below 1600x1200.

  • Unless the game has it's own frame limiter.

  • Yeah, some games do this :P

  • I couldn't get very good performance on UT3, about 30 FPS...

  • For Crysis, that's good, for a fast pace game like UT3, at least 40 is good.

  • yeah even 20 fps with crysis is good xD

I wonder if the heavy motion blur has anything to do with it feeling like its running at 30+

  • @glazeddonet intel pentium 4 60fps stable maxed settings??

  • with my pc (same p4, with a 4670 and 1gb ram) at 1920x1080 with everything maxed it pretty much runs like this is in this video.

  • what is name of music in 2:07 plz?

  • The song is called Dark Black Forest

  • @glazeddonet first song?

  • yo does anyone think I can run UT3 good with-

    Pentium 4 3.00gghz

    Nvidia Geforce9800GT 1gb(getting it soon)

    2.5 GB RAM

Right now UT3 is running 40-60fps(medium settings) on a 9500 GT 512mb, anyone know if the 9800 will fix that

  • wats the resolution. im playing on 1280x1024 ut3, geting average 30fps in warfare and vctf on high, and 40 fps avg in deathmatch. but its just the frames dip so low at times, especially in warfare, its anoyying! id like to play it 60fps steady liek this.

  • thojyout, hows your new card working out?

  • still trying to look for a good deal for a gts 250. i dont want to get an expensive one and find out it runs like crap on my computer.

  • well junkerde just sent me info. are you really getting a steady 60fps. my friend has a single core athlon 3200+ with a radeon 4670 1 gb gddr3 card and getting horrible frame drops in ut3 from 40fps all the way down to 18 fps, (50 percent of the time is 25 fps and below in warfare, other 50 percent is 40fps) realyl reconsidering now.....are u really gaming on that p4????

  • lol why would i make videos that are saying im gaming on a pentium 4, if i was gaming on like a dual core. I see where your coming from and i have NO IDEA why i get such good fps with games, it might be my type of graphics card i have ,no idea, but i would not lie about that, and lets say i was gaming on a dual core, i wouldent say i would be using a pentium 4,

    Cheers

  • The Pentium 4 is a pretty good CPU for media and gaming, in terms of single core CPUs.

    I have a Pentium 4 541 Prescott with Hyperthreading 3.2 at 4 ghz and a eVGA 8600GT SSC. I couldn't get a 9600/8800 or better because I need a new power supply (mines only 375 W with 29 amps total on both 12v rails.)

At 4 ghz the Pentium 4 is over double the performance of the fastest Pentium 3 at 933 mhz. Though a Pentium 2 at 2 ghz performs 80% as well as a Pentium 4 at 4 ghz.

  • Also 4 GB of RAM and a Asus P5KPL-CM. Both FSB and RAM are at 1 ghz (RAM is 800 mhz dual channel, 400 mhz each at stock running 500 each now).

  • imma get a gtx 275 with an athlon64 3200+, will it hopefully stay at a steady 60fps????????? with 2gb of ram. will crysis play smooth for me too on high??? cuz these videos are awesome,

  • i just dont want my upgrade to go to waste.

  • how much memory is on the gtx 275?

  • 896mb, its enough, nice videos, keep on rockin!

  • thoj man, dont do that, just get a new comp dude.

  • this is so fake. you cant get 60fps STEADY with a p4, cmon, prove it for ut3.

  • its not a hard game to run man, and with a 1gb card its a breeze

  • Comment removed

  • wait, 60fps steady even in warfare, i get drops to 20, with 4670, of course i need to change it

  • i kept my eye on the fps while shooting and it didnt seem to change :D

    cheers

  • whoa, steady 60fps??? wow!

  • Just 1 gig of ram can play this smoothley?

  • Yep

  • wOw, lol, i didn't think that a P4 could hande such games at MAX settings, you sure that the processor isn't bottlenecking the GFX card?

  • Oh yeah, with the Pentium 4 its limiting my card to only a certain condition, if you see my other video you will see that im building a new computer with AMD phenom II x4 Quad with the 9800, to get a feel for the full power of the card, without limitations that im getting with pentium 4, know what i meen mate?
