Not to discourage you but the life of a professional driver is not what it seems. After 40 years of doing it my back and legs are shot from the constant bouncing and shifting of the gears. If you do not have a wife or children it might be okay but being gone for weeks at a time is hard on you. If you like to travel and enjoy solitude then you might enjoy it. Have a happy and safe new year.
I live in California and we do have a beautiful state here, the only thing really wrong with California is it's filled with Californians. If we could fix that, it would be perfect. Truck on!
Not only are you funny, But you're pretty smart by using the route that you had run bypassing all of that rat race traffic in the San Bernardino area! Great video! Sure brings back some mighty fond memories!!!!!
From deserts to mountains and from mountains to deserts and everything in between you Jeff see it all.
You were by Thousand Palms California weren't you? I recognize the area because of the Palms.
Did they stop you at any immigrant check points there on I 8? I know that road almost hugs the Mexican border and I bet illegal immigration is a big problem on that road.
they rolled me on through, on one of my Podcasts I actually got one of the Border Patrol guys telling me "We are doing as good as THEY will let us" when I asked if they were doing any good keeping out illegals
wow very nice work. thanks for the views, I had no clue that the rv parks out there were that big.they almost compare to Ocean lake campgrounds in myrtlebeach. which use to be the biggest in the world. not so sure anymore.
Oh what a beautiful movie. GREAT JOB ! The music is SOO right, so relaxing. (I needed to relax after watching Tarentinos movie "Death proof" too violent as usual...) Thanks man !!!
man the end when you zoomed in on the road, it felt like a movie, that one road in the desert, that some crazy stuff, what if you got derailed and your truck stop working, that would suck. Great video, and thank god I live in the East, I cant stand deserts.
Jeff, Can't remember if I had mentioned this place to you before, If you ever get up into Wyoming between Rawlins & Casper on hwy 220. Stop in at the Independence Rock (also a rest area)! Plenty of parking for big rigs. Take a walk to the top of the rock. Has a great peaceful view,....& there are many names inscribed by the pioneers dating back to the early mid 1800's. The easiest way up is from the northwest side. I usually climb from the south side near the Sweetwater river.
did anyone else rub the screen at 2:38?

Hey Jeff,
Thanks for this Video. Sure is a beautiful country. Beats sitting on the M25 around London.
I'm emigrating to Canada next year (Alberta) and will hopefully be able to see this with my own eyes.
Keep the faith bro. Keep safe.

Make that the "northeast" side is the easiest to climb with a gradual slope.
