@ReelBigStreetlight I'm based in Cocoa and this was filmed in Lakeland. I have a whole bunch of YouTube Videos filmed at Lou's Blues if you look through my channel. Inn Brevard County I play Lou's, Matts Casbah and Squid Lips which are pretty close to you. I also play in Port Canaveral at Baja and Millikens, plus in a couple weeks I'm at the Brevard Co Fair. All my dates are on my Cal, here m a r c d o b s o n . c o m
I don't know why it's overly popular compared to the other, maybe because of the catchiness and memories in the listeners. You music makes me happy, thank you.
Is the harmonica somewhat easy to learn and teach yourself? I taught myself to play guitar, and can play somewhat good, but I really want to learn to play harmonica... Youre a great musician by the way. In one of your response comments to this video, you mention you only had one job before that lasted less than 6 months...just out of curiosity, what was it? lol
@jm8907 IMO, Yes harmonica is somewhat easy to learn, especially 4 someone who already plays and has live gig experience. Always been cautious with harp players, many play OK but do not no when to play or which harp. I play harp in 4 positions, a lot play only in cross (position 2) not knowing when to leave out flat 5's & other notes not belonging to song. Key points 2 learn r single notes & draw bend. Bottom 6 holes R easier than top 4. The 1 job was a party goods delivery driver.
@zepp3lin I've used drum machines, sequencers & computers for midi backing tracks for over 24 yrs & still do. Was early adapter of tracks before the word karaoke existed. I gig for a living, only had 1 day job for less than 6 months. 80% I worked solo with tracks. Played with bands (some nationals), comedy troupes & more. The REAL One Man Band is getting me more bookings, popularity and money than anything I've ever done. 'easy way/drum machine' is old, too much competition & no loner 'cool'
It is either your most popular vid cause it is a brilliant Bob Marley song OR because you filmed it in front of a Bed Bath and Beyond. I think it may be the Marley thing...
@BananaBadass Nope does not hurt, has opposite effect with one exception. 30lbs of drums on back while pulling down on them has increased my muscle, abs are stronger now, have less "pain" all over cause I'm in better shape. I do get worn out sometimes. Exception was when I was not carrying weight with correct posture & strapping system. Right side of body went numb, nurse sent me to ER fearing heart attack :) I had annoying "work out" pain building muscle at 1st but "no pain, no gain"
@ernelization Seriously one of my goals is to inspire... so Thank You! Check out the channel youtube dot com marcrocs and newer version fo No Women No Cry :)
@Blink182EatAndSleep THANKS and not trying to be to egotistical, I agree. YouTube tis a very competitive place. Only put it up a week ago, there's a bunch more video on my channel to view.

abelpaola1992 4 months ago
@abelpaola1992 There is only two chord patterns:
A E/G#bass F#min D
and
A E A E
plus I embellish the chords.
The original is Key of C and that would be:
C G/Bbass Amin F
and
C G C G
