I remember watching this video around 2 years ago. I was in tears and was hugging my own Basset Hound Roger dreading "the day". That day was May 11, 2011. The hurt is still raw up to now. Watching this video actually helps me remember hugging Roger that day. Chubby looked like he was definitely a character! I truly understand your loss first hand. Thank you for this lovely video.

My Basset (Gladys) died about two and a half years ago and it nearly killed me. But somehow, someone contacted another Basset owner and within a few weeks, I received a ton of sympathy cards from other Basset owners across the country - all were so heartfelt. I have had Bassets for over 30 years, three from pups and the rest have been rescued or ex breeding bitches and they are just delightful.
