Yes, certainly unlucky with injury BUT so have many others such as Moody, Sheridan etc. etc. who the selectors have regularly stuck with. JSD is one of the great rugby players and it's unbelievable that the learned men can even imagine that the likes of (never score) Cueto, Banana man, and Monya are better.

I remember him running the length of the pitch and getting on the outside shoulder of merciron for an easy pass....and merciron cut inside and got nailed-simbad should go to a team that can play expansive-Quins. I was there too - his rounding of Lomu remains one of the greatest moments I've seen at a live game.

Nope, he never did. That stat was made up. I spent a week with the All Blacks about 7 years ago when he was at his peak, at their training camp in the Tri Nations. He was quick but not that quick.
