I think you have a closed-minded idea about athleticism, you think athleticism is having endurance (performing a low-intensity task for a long time such as cycling). Athleticism is also have explosive strength (performing a high-intensity task for a small amount of time such as throwing a 95mph ball or jumping 50 inches in the air). I'm not saying you should like baseball, just that you shouldn't say it's not an athletic sport
