Fighting Larkecius in the Story mode isn't too bad, even on Very-Hard Mode. But he's a pain in the ass in the boss rush quest. It's not him that's annoying...it's the damn Ahrimans that fly around the arena. If you're trying to outrun his target rings and those damn bats hit you with their spinning attacks or laser...Let's just say may God have mercy on your soul...

What you need:Yuke whit ring lock 4 or enough people to stack 5 rings.

What to cast:Combine Fire,Blizzard,Thunder,Cure,Cle­ar.

Note:If your fast enought add life and youll cast ultimaga!!!! AH 1 Hit k.o.

Extra Notes:you must be quick to cast ultima or meteoraga.

I know a strong spell but only A Yuke with ringsperre 4 can use it

just put Fire, Ice, Thunder, Vita, Revive and Sani toghether in this direction

notice! you have to be fast if you want to cast this spell alone, but it IS powerful

I still haven't even reached this guy yet on Very Hard. The adds from this boss are a complete nightmare to handle, and you can only pray they merge into one.

Quick tip: When he is charging up his "Easily dodgable ray of doom", attack his chest. IIRC, that should shatter his armor and leave him wide open to attack.

I found PMD more sad though even though the main character came back sometime thanks to a miracle. I guess it's because we've been playing with one character for so long and when he/she just disappears like poof leaving his/her partner alone in tears really makes the player feel it as their partner was the second most seen character throughout the game.

This game is great though, don't misunderstand me, and it was sad to see Sherlotta and everyone else go...

Oh yes, I totally agree. Plus, the characters always make me laugh (the ones who join the party). And I prefer the battle system, it's easier than the proper series.

Plus even the villains look huggably soft.

I see Mikkael365's point about Raem's second form being hard seeing as after Mount Vellenge and Meteor Parasite and the first form you are bound to be tired and he deals insane damage, but i still think that Galdes super form is harder because even if you are paying attention you can still die to a "blizzard > meteoraga" combo

I love the FFCC series so much, btw I think that Galdes final form is easier than raem, the part where u have to cure your memories is difficult, I almost lost all of them! So unless u catch on very quick the battle wth Raem is more difficult, cause with Galdes u can reveal his weak spot and easily defeat him even on the final difficulty. Dunno about larkeicus since I haven't reached very hard yet, just finished the game, I think rof story is more touchin

Yeah its easy until youve fought it on Very hard and Very hard 2. Then its hard as hell. You can be really good at the game but youll have to get lucky. The game controls just arent good enough to beat him easily, because hes almost constantly casting spells in very hard.
