@heyItsmEeeeeeeeee Hey there: Rondó is a type of musical composition where parts of it repeat themselves. Lágrimas means tears.

It's hard to translate, because the meaning in the original language in this case Portuguese, will always be so powerful. If you haven't seen when Donatella goes to jail, try to imagine her in her jail uniform, pale, devastated, defeated, crying, remembering her happy days... with that music in the background...

@Flecha57 La Favorita (The Favorite) was broadcasted in Puerto Rico until February '10. I was hooked from the get go. It has a different storyline compared to other soaps. Brazil makes the best soaps, no question about that. Where are you watching it? In the US? In English? Awesome...

Thanks to the internet I can keep La Favorita fever. I'm sorry if I got ahead of what you are watching right now, but that was the best scene to match the melody with.

@Flecha57 Oh... one more thing. The music was a very, very important part of the soap. It's a shame that the soundtrack gets overlooked. Brazilian composers are very talented. La Favorita has 4 soundtracks: National, International, Instrumental and Sertenejo (country music).

You can find almost all the tracks here in You Tube. My 'favorite' was the introduction (aperture) tango, awesome. :))

@Flecha57 heyy!! WOW thanks for the info. I am currently in the USA but I watched it in my native language (Armenian). I loveee Brazilian soaps they really are the best and I watched them from back when I was a little girl in Armenia! But I love the language as well and I am planning to learn it in college, and hopefully one day visiting Brazil! I have seen alot of soaps but this one is really unique and different!
