  • Our unit is transitioning the hk ump 40s, and from what can tell, the gsg5 feels almost as solid. On our ump's, the charging handle can obviously be "slapped" down to chamber a round, but I would be cautious about doing that too frequently on this weapon. Otherwise, I think it's a winner. Get one now before they run out! HK is suing them and I don't think any more are being made.

  • Wow i didnt know they were being sued i just looked it up awhile ago everyone hates HK now lol i like there weapons but honestly think there too much in price i'd pay 1500 for an mp5 but like 4-7 Gs naw i'll pass. the charging handles never had signs of wear on my gsg i even tried looking for reviews on the subject but dont think its happened to anybodys...how u like the ump 40 i've seen the 45 s.u.c but i'd like the 40 cal since i get a hook up on shells :)

  • keep your finger off the trigger until your ready to fire and no the charging handle on the gsg5 is NOT meant to be slapped.

  • if it ait the mp5 k it doesnt worth it.....clone guns suck

  • dont get me wrong i luv the authentic stuff but owning a HK mp5k and affording one is just saving the house & car payment for like 6 months ands thats just for the semi! full out forget it but i heard the clone 9mm in mp5s are great guns the special weapons mp5 and the bobcat are just about the same in price and quality the gsg's are great for the price plus awsome for the country and an ammo saver

  • don't forget to move the gas jug before grilling that pussom

  • you're dumb to slam the charging handle forward like that. You will brake it.

  • sure buddy, have u ever shot the gsg-5 or the hk mp5?? have u ever even held a real gun before???? maybe the one on ur airsoft or plastic gun broke, but the real ones are designed to be slapped to load quickly for close quarter combat, the charging handle gets locked to the upper left so all its take is a little knock better than having ur gun loaded on safe...

  • I have a few guns. None of them are H&K's, but I have held a G3, UMP45, and MP5A3 at the gun range I go to. I know how the charging handle works, and it's not designed to be 'slapped' forward like you're in a movie. You're supposed to pull it back and release.

  • dude everyone that has the gsg or a real mp5 knocks the charging bolt....its a hard metal that things not gunna break!! i've never heard of anyones breaking just the screws on the stock getting loose. after the mag is empy and u load another in there if u pull the bolt back and release it will cock but might not chamber a round thats why the majority of ppl tap it cause it locks on the top and "it will chamber the rd" but like they say to each its own.

  • actually there are warnings out about the gsg 5 and how the metal tends to wear down quickly , soo you might wanna take heed and not try to look sooooooooo cool when you load your gun

  • kool???? wait til i post my new videos :D u aint seen nuthing yet ;) tell everyone at the gsg factory i said hello....

  • steps to loading a GSG-5

#1: pull the charging bolt into the locked position.

    #2: insert a loaded magazine.

#3: slap down on the charging bolt to insert a round into the chamber.

H&K put the bolt catch there for a reason.

  • I hate the flash hider. There's a site that sells the 3 lug suppressor attachment that's on mp-5k's.

  • odd little gun. i got to shoot an mp5 not to long ago. that was kinda cool.

  • thats awsome
